Nashville, TN (September 29, 2014) – Trading in her once-signature flouncy skirts for a sleek black dress, RaeLynn made her Grand Ole Opry debut over the weekend. On Friday night (9/26), the rising young entertainer showcased sophistication in more than just her style. The “God Made Girls” crooner enchanted the crowd with her debut single and performed two other songs, “Young” and “Love Triangle,” all three of which she co-wrote in Nashville.

RaeLynn humbly took the stage surrounded by a wealth of support from family, friends and her record label, The Valory Music Co. There were plenty of familiar faces in the crowd – 50 friends and family members traveled from Baytown, TX to watch RaeLynn make her debut. The 20-year-old songstress’ vocal prowess is both “conservative” and “empowering” according to Buzzfeed. It is no wonder that her debut single has been noted as the highest charting song on Mediabase by a new solo female artist this year. Pausing her set after the first song, RaeLynn commemorated the night in her own way, snapping an onstage “#OpRaeDebut” selfie with the crowd.

“I’m so excited to be able to share such a special moment in my career with my family, fans and amazing team. They all mean so much to me and I wouldn’t be here without them. Being invited to sing at the Grand Ole Opry is an absolute dream come true,” beamed RaeLynn. “Standing in the same hallowed circle as my heroes and looking out into that crowd performing my own music is a moment I will never forget. Someone pinch me please!”

Always finding new ways to connect with her fans, RaeLynn partnered with the Opry to offer a select group tickets and passes to spend time with her during the monumental evening. The Grand Prize winner won an invitation to watch RaeLynn’s soundcheck and hangout backstage in her dressing room before she took the stage. The winner also received a gift certificate to Ani & Ari, the boutique that styles RaeLynn. During intermission, the spunky vocalist treated ten fans to a meet & greet, signing autographs and snapping pictures to immortalize the milestone occasion.
