MIRANDA LAMBERT ANNOUNCES CRYSTAL LIGHT PRESENTS PLATINUM TOUR 


June 3 Platinum Album Sets Stage For Summer Tour
 
 
NASHVILLE, TN -- Summer 2014 will shine brighter starting July 10 when Miranda Lambert unveils her Crystal Light Presents Platinum Tour in Ft. Loramie, OH. “Platinum represents a lifestyle for me,” said Miranda. “It's the color of my hair, my wedding ring, my airstream trailer,  so it's just a natural fit for the name of my new album and it’s why we decided to name the tour Platinum too,” said Miranda. Her upcoming album Platinum, will be released June 3.

The new show will glitter with a platinum theme that includes a new signature stage design. Platinum will include several songs from the new album including the Top 10 hit “Automatic,” the title track and others. It will also feature songs from all four of her previous platinum certified albums. In addition, Miranda has added two new members to her band family including singer songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

More heavy metal will be on display with opening acts Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett join the tour on August 8.  ACM New Artist of the Year winner Justin Moore has a mine full of hits songs including 3 #1 singles, “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Weren't So Far Away,” and “Til My Last Day,” and several Top 10's from his Gold certified albums. Thomas Rhett brings more precious metal with his certified platinum hit “It Goes Like This,” and his new #1 single, “Give Me Some of That.”

Nashville, TN  – As the temperatures heat up across the country, Thomas Rhett continues to sizzle across Country radio, notching his second consecutive #1 hit with “Get Me Some Of That.” This week the “soul-saver, now-and-later,” GOLD-certified tune tops both the Billboard and Mediabase Country Charts.

Rock N’ Rollers SINNER SINNERS Release New Music Video for ‘Modern Man’ via VEVO – New Album “XI” Out Now!

LA-based rock n’ rollers SINNER SINNERS are pleased to release a music video for their single ‘Modern Man’, available for viewing now via the band’s VEVO page here: http://youtu.be/EMpJcMRXJvM. The video features blistering performance footage spliced in with live-action storytelling. The video is directed by Jettho (Jeremy Thomas) this time, in Los Angeles. 
Filming wasn’t a total breeze – the band had a run-in with the local authorities while trying to finish the video! “When we shot James running around and yelling at the camera, it was so convincing that the cops actually flew in and surrounded us with three cars and asked us out of the car at gunpoint, all in line with our hands on our head to question us, standard procedure,” states Steve Thill. “When they put the flashlights to our faces and recognized us, they apologized, asked for a few autographs and we went back to filming.” Talk about a close call!
 
Steve adds, “This video was inspired by David Lynch’s Lost Highway when we originally came up with the idea, but a more Urban version. It was mostly a good excuse to chase our friend around and make him run.”
 
 
The band also has another new music video available for viewing for the single ‘No Hard Feelings’, which is a tongue-in-cheek video based on having fun with French clichés, all exaggerated, of course. Happily married couple Steve and Sam Thill met in a small town in the center of France at the age of 15 and fell fast in love. Eight years later in 2009, the couple started SINNER SINNERS out of their mutual love of rock music and desire to be at each other’s sides throughout all aspects of their musical careers. Since their inception and relocation to Los Angeles, SINNER SINNERS have pushed their forceful punk-influenced rock n’ roll out to the controlled masses, but see 2014 as a figurative launching pad designed to hit the big time.
 
As with their 2011 release Cardinal Sins, the band enlisted producer Nic Jodoin (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Amusement Park On Fire, The Morlocks), and recorded at the Glory Hole in Hollywood, CA (the previous album also featured production duties from Pascal Mondaz). Interesting fact, SINNER SINNERS recorded with Nic at the same time as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, actually trading places in the studio throughout the course of the process.

Music Icon Frankie Valli Set To Celebrate Nation's Birthday, Performing Live From The U.S. Capitol, On PBS's "A CAPITOL FOURTH" 

 

WASHINGTON, May 19, 2014/-- PBS's A CAPITOL FOURTH is thrilled to announce that legendary singer Frankie Valli will perform at the live concert event celebrating the nation's 238th birthday on July 4. America's National Independence Day celebration, broadcast from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, puts viewers front and center for an all-star salute topped off by the greatest fireworks display anywhere in the nation.
With his signature falsetto voice and countless hits, Frankie Valli is an American icon who transcends generations.  Thanks to the success of the Tony-winning musical, Jersey Boys, which chronicles the life and times of Valli and his legendary group, such classic songs as "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Sherry," and "My Eyes Adored You," are the rage all over again. The musical has taken Broadway by storm and currently six companies perform Jersey Boys nightly from Las Vegas to London and is entering its 9th year and is the 13th longest running show in Broadway history. In the meantime, the real Frankie Valli is packing venues around the world.
Valli has been successfully touring and making music for more than fifty years now, both as a solo artist and as the lead singer of The Four Seasons. Valli's first taste of national exposure came in 1962 when he and The Four Seasons performed their single "Sherry" on American Bandstand. The performance took the nation by storm propelling the group to their first #1 record and making them a household name. The hit train continued to roll for The Four Seasons in 1963 and 1964 as they went on to produce several more #1 hits.
After much success with The Four Seasons in the first half of the '60s, Valli released his first solo effort in 1967, Frankie Valli: Solo. The album contained the mega hit "Grease." He would go on to produce nine Top 40 hits and two #1 singles.
Valli has even dipped into the acting pool having appeared on the iconic HBO series The Sopranos as mobster Rusty Millio and more recently in the Rob Reiner film, And So It Goes, set for release this July. The highly-anticipated film adaptation of the musical Jersey Boys, is also set to be released on June 20, and is directed by Clint Eastwood.
Frankie and the Four Seasons have influenced many other great recording artists. The group has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and to date have sold over 100 million records.  Valli continues to perform before sell-out crowds and from all the recent success including his first studio album in 15 years, Romancing the '60s, Frankie Valli is as big as he was in 1962 and not looking to hang up the microphone anytime soon.

It spawned two hit singles: the gold "Know Your Enemy," which was the first song ever to top Billboard's Rock, Alternative, and Mainstream Rock charts simultaneously, and the double-platinum "21 Guns," which earned them three 2009 MTV Video Music Awards including Best Rock Video. Green Day also took home an American Music Award for Favorite Alternative Rock Music Artist. Later that year, Green Day collaborated with Tony Award winning director of Spring Awakening, Michael Mayer, for the stage musical of American Idiot. The play bowed at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in September 2009 and set attendance records during its limited engagement.
