NEW YORK, -- On Sunday, ARIANA GRANDE received the honor of "Best New Artist" at the 2013 American Music Awards.

This makes for the platinum-selling singer very first win at the annual ceremony. Moreover, she dazzled the audience with a show-stopping performance, driven by her immense vocal prowess and effusive charm. After an acapella rendition of her double-platinum smash "The Way", doo wop crooners joined her on stage for an enchanting "Tattooed Heart". Her voice immediately transfixed the entire audience in the Nokia Theatre and around the world. The superstar diva the 21st century has been waiting for has landed at the top.
About winning the award, she humbly said on stage, "Oh My God, I'm so nervous. Thank you so much. This is for my fans. I have the most loving, supporting fans in the world and I love them so much. Thank you to the AMAs for nominating me."

GRANDE is closing out a banner 2013 in style. She just commenced her weekly series of holiday singles, "Christmas Kisses", by dropping her cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas" to iTunes and all digital outlets this past week. "Christmas Kisses" continues with two gift-wrapped originals next. On November 26, fans will be treated to "Love Is Everything", while "Snow in California" arrives December 3. Then, a sexy take on the classic "Santa Baby" with her Sam & Cat co-star Liz Gillies rounds out the "Christmas Kisses" series December 10. This provides an appropriate bookend to a landmark year for the artist.
Bringing holiday cheer to the masses, "Last Christmas" will make its live television debut when GRANDE performs it at the legendary 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28. That night, she'll be joined by none other than THE ROOTS for a special Thanksgiving performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Then, she's set to really light up the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting with "Love Is Everything" and "Last Christmas" on December 4. Finally on December 31, she's set to ring in the New Year by performing on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve .
2013 has truly belonged to GRANDE.
GRANDE's album Yours Truly arrived at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. It was the first time since January 2010 that a debut record from a female artist topped the chart. November 25, 2013 – It’s the news SEVENDUST fans have been waiting for, and they wasted no time in grabbing the opportunity to personally get involved. 
At 9:00 AM PT on Friday, November 22, SEVENDUST launched a PledgeMusic direct-to-fan campaign to help fund the band’s long-awaited and highly-anticipated acoustic album over the course of 130 days. 
At 9:00 AM PT on Monday, November 25, the Atlanta band reached 93% their goal with over 1240 pledges.  However, the campaign is far from over, even after they reach their goal.  Plenty of incentives are left, including the basic $10 pledge for an album pre-order and access to exclusive updates from the band as the album is being created, and any additional funds raised will simply be a bonus for the campaign.  Additionally, even though the grandest incentive ($10,000 for a private acoustic concert at a fan’s house) was scooped up the first day, the band decided to add two more of this very special offer.
How’d they do it?  Facebook and Twitter.  Not only the band’s official pages, but also the band member’s personal pages, where messages of thanks and excitement from fans were posted within minutes of the launch.  The news quickly spread amongst the Family like wildfire.  SEVENDUST has always said they consider their fans to be part of the SEVENDUST Family, and they’ve certainly proven their love and devotion for the band with the immediate response to the PledgeMusic campaign. 
By popular demand, the Atlanta band--Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Morgan Rose (drums/vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar/vocals), John Connolly (guitar/vocals) and Vince Hornsby (bass/vocals)—will enter Architekt Studios in Butler, NJ (where they recorded their current BLACK OUT THE SUN album) in January 2014 to record their highly anticipated and much-talked-about acoustic studio album, which will be released next spring.  It’ll be a collection of brand new songs along with re-recorded SEVENDUST classics. 
They asked their fans to be an integral part of the new project.  Not only have they been asking fans for input of which songs to re-record, they partnered with PledgeMusic for a direct-to-fan campaign.  Filled with exclusive incentives for ultimate access to have a hands-on part of the band’s legacy, the campaign is granting fans the opportunity to get a digital download of the album before its available anywhere, exclusive updates during the making of the record, and much more.  Ranging from signed drumheads and guitar picks, to joining the band in the studio for a day, to being included in the album’s liner notes, to autographed guitars used on tour, to a private acoustic show at the house of the most generous donor, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for SEVENDUST fans.

Lajon Witherspoon:  “For me, on an acoustic, I’m able to showcase my vocals more.  This is just a little something different, you know, we get off the beaten path every now and then.”
Clint Lowery:  “We’ve had a couple of specialty shows where we’ve played acoustic, so that was kind of the first taste of ‘Whoa, we can be heavy, but we can be an acoustic band and the same fanbase will embrace us.’  We have one more month to be out here on tour, we’ve been grinding it out for a long time.  We’re completely putting every bit of our energy into this acoustic record.  We already have these amazing ideas circulating for it.  We want to make a statement with it.  I want to open a whole different door for our band.”
John Connolly:  “This will be cool for us, to kind of go in and just focus on just the acoustic side of the band which is something that we’ve been trying to get back around to for eight/nine years now.”
Morgan Rose:  “We wanted to do an acoustic run, but we thought we’ve got the time to do it, why don’t we do an acoustic record and actually do five or six, seven random songs acoustically.”
Vince Hornsby:  “I hope our fans dig it.  We play the heavy stuff all the time.  It’s good to throw something different in there and change it up a little bit.”
It’s not the first time SEVENDUST has explored their acoustic side.  Their critically acclaimed SOUTHSIDE DOUBLE-WIDE live acoustic album was released in 2004.  As All Music Guide had praised:  “Fans should invest readily in SOUTHSIDE DOUBLE-WIDE...SEVENDUST’s famously confrontational sound smolders, and damn it if their sensitive side isn't just as fiery.”
SEVENDUST has been on the road since early February in support of their critically acclaimed BLACK OUT THE SUN album, which was released March 26 on the band’s own 7Bros. A self-described music obsessive “raised by MTV,” Thomas devoted his high school years to scouting out any opportunity to sing onstage, and had crossed paths with Eric through a singing competition when he was 15. Next, the group tracked down Colton after stumbling across a YouTube video of the aspiring singer/school-chorus star covering Jesse McCartney’s “Leavin.’” To round out the lineup, Midnight Red’s then-manager tapped Joey, another aspiring singer who was attending California State University, Northridge (and whose singer/songwriter father, Joey Diggs Sr., had recorded vocals with the likes of Smokey Robinson, Whitney Houston, and Rod Stewart).

SAN FRANCISCO - NOVEMBER 21, 2013 - Metallica today announced that their groundbreaking 3D feature film, Metallica Through The Never, directed by award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal, will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, digitally, and V.O.D. (Video On Demand) on January 28, 2014 through Blackened Recordings. Formats will include a standard 2-disc package on DVD, Blu-ray, or 3D Blu-ray, as well as special expanded versions. The DVDs and Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray will include extensive behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film, including an 80+ minute "Making Of 'Metallica Through The Never'" documentary, various interviews with the cast and crew and never before seen Metallica content.  Metallica fans will also be able to purchase a limited-edition deluxe package containing a piece of the actual stage used in the film, a lithograph print autographed by all four band members and more.  Full details of the package are below.  The digital format will include the feature film, as well as the "Making Of 'Metallica Through The Never'" documentary. LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 19, 2014 - Rise Records' rock band Of Mice & Men are pleased to announce that they will join Bring Me The Horizon for 'The American Dream Tour' - an extensive run of North American dates that will kick off on February 3rd in Orlando, FL and wrap up on March 28th in San Diego, CA. Tickets for the tour go on-sale to the public beginning this Friday, February 22nd.

Of Mice & Men recently finished recording and mixing their third studio album, which will be released early next year. The forthcoming full-length album is the follow up to 2011's acclaimed release The Flood, which solidified the California-based five-piece as a leading force in modern heavy music. David Bendeth (Paramore, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, Breaking Benjamin) is producing the new album.

The yet to be titled new album is the follow up to The Flood, which was originally released on June 14, 2011 and received a re-release on July 24, 2012 and included four new tracks. The Flood debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 Chart and was hailed by the New York Times as "one of the year's most bruising rock debuts." Rock Sound declared the release "a truly memorable, hip-shaking face-breaker of epic proportions." To this date, The Flood has sold over 125,000 copies and has been streamed nearly 16,000,000 times on YouTube, making it one of the most successful release in Rise Records' 22 years of operation. Laura Bell Bundy is Kentucky Dirty

Laura Bell Bundy directed the video with friend Becky Fluke in her home state of Kentucky.  The University of Kentucky dance team makes a cameo in the video which is featured in the Kentucky Wildcat Basketball documentary "The Sixth Man" available at Walmart November 26th

The song and video are very personal for Bundy who was raised a University of Kentucky fan and considers it a religion.  The behind the scenes of the making of the video can be seen at:

Laura Bell Bundy is the true definition of triple threat. Her theatrical resume reads like a wish list of the most coveted roles in recent Broadway history Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, Glinda in the smash hit Wicked and she originated the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, a performance that earned her Tony Award, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama Desk nominations. 
She has also been spotted in front of the camera throughout her career, appearing on television shows such as Cold Case, Veronica Mars, Home Improvement, How I Met Your Mother, Malibu Country, and a recurring role as "Shelby" on Hart of Dixie. Bundy can currently be seen as the female lead in the Charlie Sheen, FX network comedy,  Anger Management, playing Dr. Jordan Denby, the “new sex-study research partner” to Sheen’s character.

Bundy penned all but one of the songs on her previous album, Achin’ and Shakin.’  Her breakout hit “Giddy On Up” reached #31 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Charts and landed her a show stopping performance on the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards.  “Giddy On Up” was also featured on the popular video game Just Dance 3. 
Laura Bell’s most recent single “Two Step” answers the age-old question of what happens when you combine HOT, country, dance tracks and hip-hop beats?   Her music is bold, outspoken, hilarious, surprising, devilishly dirty and most of all, danceable.
