Fans get sneak peek before music video’s world premiere as Rice launches into third week of his Everybody We Know Does Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 23, 2016) – With his new music video for “Everybody We Know Does,” Chase Rice isn’t just giving fans a glimpse into his world away from the lights and the noise and the stage – he’s busting the doors wide open and inviting everyone in to be a part of it. Rice, who shared the video directly with fans 24 hours ahead of its worldwide premiere via Vevo today, September 23, says his current single is “one-hundred-percent me” and embodies the lifestyle and values he holds most dear. He solicited his own friends and family for the candid music video shoot at his property on the outskirts of Music City, tapping his longtime tour videographer Cody Cannon to capture the authentic spirit of “Everybody We Know Does” on camera.

“This music video is as real as it gets,” said Rice. “’Everybody We Know Does’ is my life in a song -- it’s not just about what we do; it’s about what makes us who we are and what brings us together and we wanted to capture that in the purest way possible with this video. It’s literally my friends and me hanging out at the farm, gathering around a fire, singing our favorite songs and trying to make the most out of life. Whether we’re on the road, performing for thousands of people or just kicking back at home, this is who we are.”

Rice is currently on his fifth headlining tour, the Everybody We Know Does Tour, with special guests Ryan Hurd and Lacy Cavalier. Known for live shows that are “energetic and country rogue” (Providence Journal), Rice has built a widespread and fiercely loyal fan base through years of relentless touring and will have logged more than 175 days on the road in 2016 alone by the time his fall tour winds down. His new single is already making a “powerful live impact” (Sounds Like Nashville) at shows and a new studio album is expected out early next year.

Earlier this year, ALL HAIL THE YETI released their long awaited full-length album, Screams From A Black Wilderness, based on classic campfire-circle style horror stories and presenting a different story with each track. Today, Music Choice is exclusively premiering the music video for "Mr. Murder". You can watch the premiere all day on Music Choice On Demand > All Artists. Tune in to Music Choice on your TV or via the Music Choice app: www.smarturl.it/musicchoiceapp
Vocalist Connor Garritty states: "We are very excited to finally release the video for "Mr.Murder". This was shot over the last few tours compiled with live footage and tour antics while paying tribute to our brother Matthew Berube who passed away in 2015. It's also features our dear friend Brock Lindow of 36 Crazyfists who flew out from Alaska to join us on the Haunted and Damaged tour to perform live and film the video. This song is very difficult for us to perform live given the subject matter but also bring us great happiness to immortalize our best friend. Hope you all enjoy... Hail "Mr.Murder"!"
Screams From A Black Wilderness is available to order via Bandcamp, Amazon, or iTunes.

Shine On Rainy Day,” the title track of Brent Cobb’s anticipated new full-length album, premiered yesterday at Noisey and can now be heard/shared HERE. Of the song, the site praises, “It’s a soft, acoustic ballad, different from what you may have already heard from Cobb. The Georgia-born singer/songwriter has a knack for joyous, energetic songs that celebrate life and the good things in it.” Watch Brent perform the song live HERE.
Out October 7 on Low Country Sound/Elektra Records, Shine On Rainy Day is now available for pre-order, which comes with an immediate download of the title track as well as the album tracks “Black Crow” and “Solving Problems.”
Already receiving acclaim, NPR Music’s Ann Powers praises, “‘Solving Problems’ is emblematic of the calm insights Cobb offers on Shine On Rainy Day, an album genuinely worthy of comparisons to often-invoked names like Jesse Winchester and Kris Kristofferson,” while WXPN’s World Café recently featured Brent on the renowned program declaring, “…a gorgeous solo album that promises to place him in the top echelon of this century’s young troubadours” (listen to the full session here).
Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, etc.), the album was recorded live over four days in Nashville.
In celebration of the release, Brent will embark on an extensive tour this fall supporting Anderson East and, on October 15, will join Chris Stapleton for a special show at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre. See below for complete details.
Of the music and working with producer (and cousin) Dave Cobb, Brent comments, “It’s not as good as it’s going to get. But if it’s the last thing that I ever do, if I died the day after it came out, then thank God I was able to record it because the songs and the production, it was everything I wanted to say. Finally.”
Dave adds, “I wanted to work with Brent for very selfish reasons. When he lifts a pen and opens his mouth, it sounds like home. I did his record because he’s part of the fabric of South Georgia and the soundtrack to my family. Pure rural country soul filled music.”
Earlier this year, Brent was featured on Dave’s widely praised Southern Family compilation—contributing the song “Down Home” and writing the standout “Sweet By & By,” which was recorded by Miranda Lambert. Of “Down Home,” Wide Open Country declares, “…one of the most earnest and accurate retellings of everyday life in rural Georgia. The mixture of Cobb’s charming southern drawl, brilliant storytelling and flawless production melds into a track that is impossible to resist.”

Born in Ellaville, GA (population 1,609), Brent moved to Nashville in 2008 and has since found widespread success as a writer with songs recorded by Lambert (“Old Shit”), Kenny Chesney (“Don’t It”), Luke Bryan (“Tailgate Blues”), David Nail (“Grandpa’s Farm”), Kellie Pickler (“Rockaway”) and Eli Young Band (“Go Outside and Dance”) among others.

Green Day is an American punk rock band composed of vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool. Formed in 1986, Green Day was originally part of the punk scene at the DIY 924 Gilman Street club in Berkeley, California. The band's early releases were with the independent record label Lookout! Records. In 1994, its major label debut Dookie (released through Reprise Records) became a breakout success and eventually sold over 10 million copies in the United States. Green Day was widely credited with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States.  Green Day's follow up albums Insomniac (1995) and Nimrod (1997) each sold over two million albums and were certified Double Platinum, and Warning (2000) was certified Platinum.  2004 brought the band's rock opera American Idiot which reignited the band's popularity with a younger generation and sold over six million copies in the United States.  Green Day is one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. The group has won five Grammy Awards: Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot, Record of the Year for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", Best Rock Album for the second time for 21st Century Breakdown and Best Musical Show Album for American Idiot: The Original Broadway Cast Recording. In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway.  On April 18, 2015, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a part of the 2015 class in what was their first year of eligibility for induction. On October 16, 2015, Green Day released the documentary Heart Like A Hand Grenade, an unprecedented behind the scenes look at the writing and recording of their legendary album American Idiot
