LUKAS NELSON & PROMISE OF THE REAL RECEIVE RAVE REVIEWS FOR WASTED
The Wasted Tour Kicks Off May 2 in Atlanta, St. Louis date set for June 12

Los Angeles - It's one thing for a new band to amass a following of
fans who sing along to every word, it's another thing to get the
critical praise of the respected music industry press. Luckily, for
Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, they are firing on both cylinders
with the recent release of their second full-length record, Wasted.

Here's what the press has to say about Lukas Nelson &
Promise of the Real and Wasted:

"The band's sound defies classification, with its latest album,
Wasted, best described as a sort of hodgepodge of rock styles. A
variety of guitar sounds (including, yes, some steel guitar) anchor
the melodies, while Nelson's high-pitched, familiar voice buoys things
up."
- Yahoo! Music

"'Wasted' is the first great album of Lukas Nelson's career.  He pulls
no punches and gives his listeners a lot of credit to weather the ups
and downs of this often intense and challenging music."
- No Depression

"Lukas's talents take him beyond receiving 'good genes' and bring his
sound into a genre that cannot be categorized since it was originated
by his band, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real"
- Shockya.com

"The writing and playing abilities of Lukas Nelson and his band are
rock solid. The melodies and harmonies are well crafted, and the
lyrical content is packed to the hilt with good old fashioned no holds
barred swagger and priceless wisdom. Nelson is infectious and has all
the trademarks needed to gravitate a huge fan base. He should be
classified as something special."
- Indiemusicdigest.com

The band has truly earned such praise after years of
honing their unique sound through doing it, as they say, the
old-fashioned way by touring constantly and gelling as a band live
first. "This record turned out how it did because we just really
gelled as a band more by playing live so much," says drummer Anthony
LoGerfo. "It's more cohesive. I think we've really improved as a band
and are a lot tighter now."
