MUSE NOMINATED FOR TWO 
2013 GRAMMY® AWARDS:
 BEST ROCK ALBUM AND BEST ROCK SONG
DECEMBER 6, 2012 - LOS ANGELES, CA- Warner Bros. Records' Muse have been nominated for two 2013 Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album (The 2nd Law) and Best Rock Song ("Madness").

In 2011 Muse took home the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album for The Resistance.  The band has also earned four Gold Albums, and over the course of their career have won multiple Brit Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, NME Awards, Q Awards, and many others. They have released six albums, 1999's Showbiz, 2001's Origin of Symmetry, 2003's Absolution, 2006's Black Holes and Revelations, 2009's The Resistance, and this year's The 2nd Law, which earned them their highest-ever debut on the Billboard album chart when the album bowed at No. 2 a week after its release. The album's first single "Madness" is currently in its 9th consecutive week at No. 1 at alternative radio. Muse will kick off a tour of the United States in January 2013.

The 2013 Grammy Awards will be handed out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10, 2013. Tune in to the 55th Annual Grammy Awards telecast, which airs that night on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
