Ex-deadboy and the Elephantmen and ex-Acid Bath’s Dax Riggs released his sophomore solo album Say Goodnight To The World on August 3rd, 2010, on Fat Possum Records.  Recorded over two weeks in his home insane asylum with dancing boys of Austin, TX, Charley Siess (drums) and Kevin Fitzsimmons (bass); co-produced with multi-instrumentalist Robbie Lee (Howling Hex, Baby Dee); and mixed with Eric Wofford (Black Angels, Bill Callahan).

Marshall Crenshaw / Freedy Johnston
Part of The Listening Room Series
Friday, May 13
Doors 7pm * Show 8pm * $25 Reserved * $18 GA * Over 21 Only
~On-Sale 3/2 @ 5pm

Over 25 years since breaking through to critical and commercial acclaim with his 1982 self-titled debut and its infectious, era-defining pop hit "Someday, Someway," Marshall Crenshaw creates an incredible new chapter in his career with his 429 Records debut Jaggedland. Crenshaw's first studio recording in more than six years is his most musically dynamic and lyrically intimate collection yet.
A gifted songwriter whose lyrics paint sometimes witty, often poignant portraits of characters often unaware of how their lives have gone wrong, Freedy Johnston seemingly appeared out of nowhere in the early '90s and quickly established himself as one of the most acclaimed new singer/songwriters of the day.

Sondre Lerche
Wednesday, June 15
Doors 7pm * Show 8pm * $15 Adv * $17 DoS
All Ages * $2 Minor Surcharge
~On-Sale 3/4 @ 5pm (fan pre-sale 3/2)

Lerche, an award-winning singer-songwriter, newly minted Hollywood go-to man and frequent sighting on critics' year-end "best albums" lists, simply believes there's a lot of work that goes into crafting a song. Heartbeat Radio, his fifth studio album and first for Rounder Records, is proof that good art needs time, thought and careful construction. It is a "generous" album (his words), and a summation of everything Lerche has learned over the last decade of making music.
