Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience kicks up plans for 2011

After a successful 2010 tour, Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience will return to the States this summer for another tribute tour commemorating the life and music of his father, Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.
The younger Bonham -- himself a well-known drummer -- will return to the road with a May 4 performance in Wallingford, CT, followed by another 18 concerts across the continent through the end of that month.
Most tickets for the run go on sale Friday (3/25) via the band's website.
Bonham will be joined by Tony Catania (guitar/theremin), Stephen LeBlanc (keys/pedal steel), Michael Devin (bass) and James Dylan (vocals).
The group will perform Zeppelin favorites at each stop, including "Your Time Is Gonna Come," "Celebration Day" and "Black Dog," among others.
"I never imagined the [2010] tour would've received the overwhelmingly positive reactions it did," Bonham explained in a press release. "It's been beyond my wildest dreams to come out to represent my family, my father and the music of Led Zeppelin."
Bonham, who filled his father's shoes for 2007's Led Zeppelin reunion show in London, has also performed with former Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page and Foreigner, among other acts.
