LEE BRICE REACTS TO ACM AWARD SHOW NOMINATIONS

Nashville, TN (February 1, 2011) – Country music star Lee Brice is off to a good start in 2011 after wrapping up January with a stretch of sold out shows and receiving 3 nominations for the 46thAnnual Academy of Country Music Awards.

“Wow!  What a way to start the day!  I’m out on the west coast deep in dreamland and my hotel phone starts ringing at 5:30am and it’s my manager screaming ‘Wake Up! We got 3 ACM Nominations!’ I grinned from ear to ear,” Brice explains about hearing the good news, “It’s such an honor just to be nominated and such a boost personally after putting so much time and work into this.”

Brice’s nominations include Song of the Year for “Love Like Crazy” and as both an artist and producer for Single Record of the Year for “Love Like Crazy.”  This is the first year that Brice has been nominated for the ACM Awards.  The nominated single was written by Tim James and Doug Johnson, who also produced the track.

“Love Like Crazy” is the title track off of Brice’s debut album and was recently named Billboard’s #1 country song of 2010.  It currently holds the record for the longest charting song in the history of Billboard’s Hot Country songs chart.
