Lady Antebellum scores twice at Super Bowl events

GRAMMY award winning trio Lady Antebellum has been hand-selected by Westwood One to kick off the official NFL pre-game radio coverage of Super Bowl XLV on Sunday, Feb. 6 beginning at 3:00P CT.  Broadcasting on over 640 radio stations, the coverage will feature a special version of the fan favorite song “Stars Tonight” mixed with highlights from the Packers’ and Steelers’ winning seasons.

Immediately following football’s biggest game, Lady A’s smash hit “Need You Now” will be part of the highly anticipated Super Bowl episode of Fox’s Emmy award winning musical comedy Glee.   Both songs were penned by the award-winning singer/songwriters.

The trio will be tuning in from Nashville before heading to Los Angeles for the GRAMMY awards next week where they are slated to perform and are nominated for six awards (Album of the Year and Best Country Album of the Year for NEED YOU NOW, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Country Song and Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with vocals for “Need You Now”).
