Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo 35th Anniversary Tour coming to Walker's Bluff Winery

Rock legends Pat Benatar & Neil “Spyder” Giraldo have just announced plans to keep their 35th Anniversary Tour rocking fans through the summer with an additional 35 concerts added coast to coast. The powerhouse duo behind one of the largest arsenals of rock hits including "Love is a Battlefield", "Hit Me with Your Best Shot", "Heartbreaker", "We Live For Love", "Promises In The Dark," "We Belong," and more will be headlining solo concerts nationwide -- as well as joining forces with Cher this spring, and co-headlining a just announced summer tour with Rick Springfield.

“35 years ago, Heartbreaker (on the debut album ”In The Heat of The Night”) was the catalyst for it all,” said Pat Benatar. It’s hard to believe that so much time has passed. We’re excited to be celebrating this personal and musical milestone. The summer tour should be an incredible, shared experience with the audience.”

”From the very beginning our chemistry was undeniable”, remarked Neil Giraldo. This is the driving force behind everything we do. After 35 years of playing together, we’re looking forward to the summer tour and the future, which will surely be…adventurous”

Together, with Benatar's mezzo-soprano vocal range and Giraldo's trail-blazing work as a guitarist, producer and songwriter, Pat Benatar and Neil “Spyder” Giraldo have forged one of the most successful partnerships in rock & roll history. Since their initial collaboration 35 years ago on the debut album "In The Heat of the Night," they have sold more than 26 million albums and charted 19 Top 40 singles, earning four consecutive Grammy Awards and three American Music Awards.

Included in their added concerts, Pat & Spyder will join forces with Rick Springfield for a multi-city co-headlining summer tour kicking off on June 29th in Raleigh, NC. Although they have known each other for more than three decades, the tour marks the first time they’ve toured together.   Springfield added, “Although I first met Pat and Neil when Neil played on the original recording of Jessie’s Girl in 1980 it took 35 years before we got together to tour. It should be one for the books.”

Billboard Magazine ranked Benatar as one of the most successful female rock vocalist of all-time.  Her emergence as a fearless, fighting force has helped forge a path for other female rock stars around the world.  In addition to the arsenal of more then 100 songs he's written, produced, arranged and recorded for Benatar, Giraldo's helped create hits for legions of other artists including John Waite, Rick Springfield (No. 1, Grammy-winning classic “Jessie’s Girl and Top Ten hit "I've Done Everything for You"), Kenny Loggins and more. Theirs is a chemistry that will, undoubtedly, be thrilling music lovers forever.

Benatar and Giraldo will perform at Walker's Bluff Winery on Sunday, July 13. For more information,
