THE PLACES WE LEAVE BEHIND EP AVAILABLE NOW!

"Get ready to press play again because that's exactly what you'll be wanting to do." - Beats Per Minute

New York, NY  - Indie rockers The Assembly Line have premiered a stripped down acoustic video of "The Tide" exclusively on Pop'stache. The track is from their latest EP The Places We Leave Behind.
"'The Tide' is a song about overcoming the odds," singer Thor Nguyen said. "I think when you put in the time and go through the motions of being in a band, you meet a lot of people. Some people are supportive and some are critical but constructive. But then you meet the people that just want to hate, or feel that their opinion is the law and offer no advice or anything. That is who this song is for."

Critics are raving about the band's new EP The Places We Leave Behind, describing it as "good, clean pop rock" (Golden Mixtape), "catchy, simplistic pop-rock" (May The Day) and scoring an 8.5 out of 10 review on Pup Fresh. Music Box Pete's review mentions "The Assembly Line do things the right way here on an effort that shows their raw musical dexterity and truthfulness lyrically that will serve them well in the long run." The Places We Leave Behind is available on iTunes.

Brought together in 2009 by an ad on Craigslist and a passion for making music, NYC based rock/pop band, The Assembly Line, continue to make a name for themselves. They've seen success in recent years with placements on hit MTV shows, such as "Teen Mom 2" and "16 & Pregnant", and rave reviews in the press. The band has shared the stage with some of today's top acts, including Maroon 5, Wiz Khalifa, Yellowcard, Ryan Beatty, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and more.
