Celebration Day – A Tribute to Led Zeppelin

ST. LOUIS, MO  – El Monstero, the definitive Pink Floyd tribute band, has announced their annual summer show will be Saturday, August 8 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.  Celebration Day – a tribute to Led Zeppelin – will perform at 7 p.m. with El Monstero taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at, all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre and Pageant box offices, the Live Nation Concerts mobile app, or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.  Tickets are $45 and $20 for reserved seats; $20 for lawn.
Now in its 16th year of rocking St. Louis, El Monstero has returned to the outdoor amphitheater after an impressive concert last year on Art Hill in Forest Park.  “We are really excited to be back at the amphitheater this summer,” said bassist Kevin Gagnepain.  “Having a venue that size allows us to do all of the things you expect at an El Monstero concert … only bigger.  Plus, for the first time ever, we have an opening act.  Celebration Day are a great way to kick off the night while the sun sets.”
El Monstero began its theatrical presentation of the band’s music in 1999.  The band is comprised of St. Louis natives Mark Thomas Quinn (lead vocals/guitar/lap steel guitar), Jimmy Griffin (lead vocals/guitar), Kevin Gagnepain (bass/vocals), Bryan Greene (electric and acoustic guitar), John Pessoni (drums/vocals), Bill Reiter (keyboard/vocals), Jake Elking (keyboard), Dave Farver (saxophone), Ermine Cannon, Tandra Williams, and Melinda Mierek (vocals).
El Monstero focuses on the Gilmore/Waters era of Pink Floyd, but ventures into albums recorded both before and after that time in the band’s history.  El Monstero delivers an audio and visual experience like no other combining pyro, massive theatrical props, innovative technology and even fireworks!
