About Joe Bonamassa: As Joe Bonamassa enters his 26th year as a professional musician, he continues to blaze a remarkably versatile artistic trail, and amass an authentic, innovative and soulful body of work.  Bonamassa's career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989, when he was only 12 years old.  Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter who has released 16 solo albums in the last 14 years, all on his own label, J&R Adventures.  In 2013, Bonamassa earned his first GRAMMY ® nomination for Best Blues Album, and with the release of 2014's new studio record Different Shades Of Blue, he debuted at #8 on Billboard's Top 200 (a career high) and received his fourteenth #1 Billboard Blues Album (more than any other artist). In January 2015, he fulfilled a childhood dream when he headlined two sold out shows at New York City's legendary Radio City Music Hall.
About Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation:Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation fuels the passion for music by funding programs and scholarships for students and teachers who possess the desire, but lack the resources or access to achieve their potential within the music industry. Through generous corporate sponsorships by industry powerhouses Ernie Ball Strings, Guitar Center, J&R Adventures, and individual donors, KTBA has been able to fund music projects affecting over 21,000 students and over 200 schools since January 2014. We accomplish this by making weekly donations to music projects in schools all over the country, and soon… the world!
