NASHVILLE, TN (November 3, 2014) – Known for his raucous anthems and doses of gut-wrenching ballads, BRANTLEY GILBERT took his electric show down a notch for a special AMC HELL ON WHEELS acoustic event hosted by lead actor and series producer, ANSON MOUNT and SiriusXM’s STORME WARREN last night (11/2) at Peter Nappi Studio. Brantley invited friends RHETT AKINS, BEN HAYSLIP and BRIAN DAVIS for an evening of songs, stories and surprises.
An intimate group of lucky contest winners from across the country were flown to Nashville and treated to the round of tunes, including fan-favorites like “Kick It In The Sticks,” “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” from Brantley’s PLATINUM-certified HALFWAY TO HEAVEN DELUXE album. His fellow songwriters added their voices to the lineup, performing songs they wrote with Brantley as well as hit songs like “Get Me Some Of That” (Thomas Rhett), “Boys ‘Round Here” (Blake Shelton), “Anywhere With You” (Jake Owen) and more.
Brantley’s next single, “One Hell of An Amen,” will impact Country radio on November 10, setting an uplifting tone while honoring service men and women on Veteran’s Day (November 11). Landing at #2 on the Billboard 200 and notching the third-highest Country debut of 2014, Brantley’s JUST AS I AM (The Valory Music Co.) has catapulted with the PLATINUM-certified, #1 smash “Bottoms Up” and Top 10 “Small Town Throwdown,” featuring labelmates Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett.
On Wednesday (November 5), Brantley will present during the 48th Annual CMA Awards, airing live from Nashville on ABC at 8/7c.
