Tommy Emmanuel Announces 2014 US Summer Tour

LOS ANGELES,  -- Two-time GRAMMY Nominee Tommy Emmanuel, whose five decade career has garnered hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, will once again be bringing his passionate and infectious live show to the United States in summer 2014. The tour kicks off on June 12 in St. Louis, MO at Sheldon Concert Hall and wraps up on August 16 in Philadelphia at The Philadelphia Folk Festival.
Supporting Tommy is Antsy McClain, front man of the Trailer Park Troubadours. McClain is a singer/songwriter and humorist who will be presenting an introductory dose of his solo show which is set to tour the same markets in the coming months.
Emmanuel is a national treasure in his mother country of Australia. He started as a child prodigy touring with his family band, and rose up through the ranks as a studio musician and with a series of successful Australian bands, including providing his guitar stylings on Air Supply's multi-platinum selling album, "Lost In Love." He has been voted Favorite Acoustic Guitarist in both Guitar Player Magazine and Acoustic Guitar Magazine's reader polls, and is a YouTube sensation. His videos have nearly 14,000,000 views and have led to sold out shows in new markets all over the US.
