Tim McGraw announces 2011 'Emotional Traffic Tour'

Tim McGraw, named country music's No. 1 touring act of 2010 by Billboard, announced today that he and his band, the Dancehall Doctors, will return to the road this spring. The "Emotional Traffic Tour" will feature special guests Luke Bryan and The Band Perry. Dates for the extensive North American run will be announced shortly.

Ticket sales will begin on January 15th; for further details visit http://www.timmcgraw.com/. Outback Steakhouse will be a sponsor of the tour, which will be promoted nationally by Live Nation.
McGraw will deliver "The Journey to Super Bowl 45," the opening tease to the FOX NFL Sunday pre-game show, which airs today at Noon ET on FOX. "Felt Good On My Lips," McGraw's latest single, is No. 1* on Billboard's Country Songs chart and has topped Mediabase's Canadian chart for three consecutive weeks. The song is one of two bonus tracks included on his new double-CD collection, Number One Hits (Curb Records), which includes 22 other chart-topping singles. You can check out the video for "Felt Good On My Lips" on Tim's YouTube channel.

McGraw co-stars alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester in Screen Gems' Country Strong, which will be released in theatres nationwide this Friday, January 7th. He'll discuss the film in a series of television appearances that includes "Late Show with David Letterman" (1/4), "Good Morning America" (1/5), "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1/5), "ChelseaLately" (1/6) and "The Martha Stewart Show" (1/7). Variety called Country Strong a "rare ensemble piece in which all four principals are not only compellingly drawn but handled with an astute sense of dramatic balance" while CMT Insider noted: "Tim McGraw proves once again just what a fine actor he is."

About Luke Bryan:

Luke Bryan made his debut in 2007 with I'll Stay Me, which was named one of the best albums of the year by numerous critics and contained the Top 10 hits "All My Friends Say" and "Country Man." His latest album, Doin' My Thing, bowed at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 in 2009 and has been certified Gold by the RIAA. It's already yielded two No. 1 singles - "Do I" and "Rain Is A Good Thing." His latest hit, "Someone Else Calling You Baby," is currently No. 10 on Billboard's Country Songs chart. Last year Bryan took home two ACM Awards - "Top New Solo Vocalist" and "Top New Artist" - while "Do I" won CMT's "USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year" Award.
