THE BAND PERRY SCORES THIRD #1 SINGLE WITH “BETTER DIG TWO”

Lead Single Nears 1 Million Copies Sold

Sibling Trio Slated To Release Sophomore Album On April 2

Nashville, TN (February 13, 2013) – The Band Perry nails the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Chart this week with “Better Dig Two,” the fastest-rising song and third chart-topper of their career. The bold lead single has sold nearly one million copies and provides a stellar preview of the sibling trio’s Republic Nashville release on April 2.

As excitement escalates, Rolling Stone raves, "[on ‘Better Dig Two’] the family country band shifts from subdued hand claps and banjo finger-picking to explosive choruses flush with huge guitar crashes and Kimberly Perry's searing hot siren calls." Entertainment Weekly lists the upcoming project as one of the “12 Albums We Can’t Wait For.”

“We are thrilled that our fans and country radio love ‘Better Dig Two’ as much as we did when we first heard it!  It’s the ultimate love song. A true Appalachian sentiment with a definitive ‘until death do us part’ message,” says Kimberly Perry.

“We knew that our fans were embracing ‘Better Dig Two’ because we could see it at our live shows, the movement and dancing among the crowd when we play this song is like no other,” says Reid Perry.

“Whenever I strike the first note of the intro to this song we can feel the excitement among the audience.  It’s fun to perform live and we are so happy our fans have made this our third #1 single,” says Neil Perry.

“Congratulations to Kimberly, Neil and Reid on their third #1 single with ‘Better Dig Two!’ It’s so great seeing the lead single off their sophomore album go #1 in just 15 weeks,” says Jimmy Harnen, Republic Nashville President & Big Machine Label Group EVP.

The Band Perry helped announce this year’s ACM Awards’ nominees during a digital press conference via www.facebook.com/AcademyOfCountryMusic and www.twitter.com/ACMawards this morning (2/13). The 48^th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast LIVE from Las Vegas on Sunday (4/7) at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

As special guests on Rascal Flatts' CHANGED TOUR this spring, The Band Perry will make stops this weekend in North Charleston, SC on 2/14; Greensboro, NC on 2/15 and Charlottesville, VA on 2/16. For additional tour dates, visit thebandperry.com.

Siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry quickly catapulted into the mainstream with the success of their Quadruple-Platinum, breakout hit “If I Die Young.” In 2011, the tune took the #1 position on both Country and AC charts as well as earned 2011 CMA Single AND Song of the Year. Their success continued with Platinum-certified “You Lie” and the Gold-certified, #1 smash “All Your Life.” The Band Perry has won multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Music Awards as well as GRAMMY, TEEN CHOICE, AMA, ACA and Billboard Music Award nominations.

TIM MCGRAW REVS UP FOR THE RELEASE OF TWO LANES OF FREEDOM ON FEB. 5

Coast-to-Coast Performances Include Stops at the Super Bowl in New Orleans and the USS Midway In San Diego

Nashville, TN (January 28, 2013) -- Country music super star Tim McGraw is set to release his highly anticipated Big Machine Records debut, TWO LANES OF FREEDOM, on Feb. 5 with performances kicking off on location at the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Good Morning America this Friday (Feb. 1).

From New Orleans, fans can catch McGraw over the weekend on Austin City Limits (Feb 2) and CBS Sunday Morning (Feb 3).  He heads to the West Coast for The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Feb. 5) and a special live stream Ram Country on Yahoo! performance later that night aboard the USS Midway in San Diego at 7:30 p.m. ET.   He will guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Feb 6) and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Feb.7), pay tribute to friend and MusiCares Person of the Year Bruce Springsteen (Feb. 8) and wrap up with a visit to Chelsea Lately (Feb. 11).

Billboard comments "…freedom—and acceleration—are prevailing themes on a set that finds McGraw and longtime producer Byron Gallimore delivering a sonically ambitious collection of songs that is equal parts fun, romance and big-picture vignettes."

In his record-shattering career, Tim McGraw has sold over 40 million albums and dominated the charts with 32 No. one singles.  Since the release of his debut album in 1993, he has won three GRAMMY’s, 14 ACM Awards, 12 CMA Awards, and 10 AMA’s, while simultaneously maintaining a parallel career as a successful actor in such films as the Oscar nominated The Blind Side, Country Strong, and Friday Night Lights—as well as hosting Saturday Night Live, a rare honor for a singer in any genre.  Nielsen-BDS recently certified McGraw as the most-played Country artist of the past 20 years (1992-2012) with more than 10 million spins detected and Mediabase recognized him as the most-played Country artist in the history of their tracking service.

On Monday, April 8, McGraw will tape an all-star concert special, ACM PRESENTS: TIM McGRAW'S SUPERSTAR SUMMER NIGHT, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast at a later date on the CBS Television Network.  He is handpicking the hottest music of summer and calling on his friends to help kick off the 2013 touring season.   He'll launch his own TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR, presented by Pennzoil, in Birmingham, AL on May 2 and continue on to 30 cities through July.  The U.S. trek will also feature emerging artists Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft.
