Country Music Association’s 2012 “Entertainer of the Year,” five-time Male Vocalist of the Year winner and GRAMMY nominee Blake Shelton continues to add to his superstar status. In November he released his album Texoma Shore, which became his sixth record to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and marked his 11th all-genre Top 10. Texoma Shore features smash hits “I Lived It” and “I’ll Name The Dogs,” a romantic tune that boasts more than 90 million streams and marked his 25th No. 1 song. His current single, “Turnin’ Me On,” is the third single from Texoma Shore and was most-added upon impact at country radio. In the week following album launch, Shelton became the first artist in Country Aircheck / Mediabase history to have six songs chart simultaneously.Texoma Shore follows 2016’s Gold-certified If I’m Honest, the best-selling country album release of the year, which spawned three chart-topping songs and earned him a No. 1 on both the Billboard Top Country Albums and the all-genre Top Album Sales charts.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Shelton has earned a host of honors throughout his career including 20 ACM nominations and both the male and overall Video of the Year trophies at the 2018 CMT Awards. CARLY PEARCE BREATHES “HIDE THE WINE” ON
LIVE WITH KELLY & RYAN THURSDAY (2/15)

Jet-Sets to Tulsa for Blake Shelton’s COUNTRY MUSIC FREAKS TOUR Kick-off That Night

____________________________________________________________________

SHOW: LIVE with Kelly and Ryan

DATE: Thursday, February 15

TIME: 9:00A (local time in most markets)

CHANNEL: Syndicated (check local listings)
____________________________________________________________________

NASHVILLE, TN (February 12, 2018) – Breakout sensation CARLY PEARCE will continue to carry the torch for female Country artists this week with a national TV appearance, opening a Superstar tour and celebrating the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s education initiatives.

Carly begins her whirlwind blitz on Monday (2/12) at P.S. 169 Baychester Academy students as part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Words & Music program. Tuesday (2/13) evening the troupe will premiere the original song they jointly penned, “We Are The Song,” with esteemed tunesmiths Liz Rose (“Girl Crush,” “You Belong with Me”) and Phil Barton (“A Woman Like You”) during the next All for the Hall benefit concert at the PlayStation Theater. This year’s show features an all-female lineup including Kesha, Maren Morris and Emmylou Harris alongside host Vince Gill, a Country Music Hall of Fame Member and founder of All for the Hall.

Deemed “
the new voice of Country” (People), Carly knows a bit about musical aspirations at a young age. At 5 years old she told her parents she’d play the Grand Ole Opry (which she’s done nearly 50 times), at 11 she was fronting a local Bluegrass band and by 16 the Kentucky native convinced her parents to leave high school for a job performing at Dollywood, where she also took online classes to graduate. Several false starts after moving to Nashville, she learned humility – and that you’re never guaranteed anything. She is a true example of what can happen when you don’t let your current circumstances define your future.

Thursday (2/15) morning Carly will perform her full-bodied new single “Hide The Wine” on
LIVE with Kelly & Ryan, airing at 9:00A local time in most markets (check listings). Immediately following the show, she’ll head to Tulsa for opening night of Blake Shelton’s COUNTRY MUSIC FREAKS TOUR. She will spend the remainder of 2018 out with Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES, Rascal Flatts’ BACK TO US and Luke Bryan’s WHAT MAKES YOU COUNTRY (including stadium dates) tours.

Oozing with critical and mainstream appeal, her debut album EVERY LITTLE THING (Big Machine Records) has elicited three consecutive chart-toppers on SiriusXM’s The Highway with “Every Little Thing,” “If My Name Was Whiskey” and “Hide the Wine,” solidifying her in their all-genre “Class of 2017.” The blockbuster title track went No. 1 at Country radio, designating her as the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015 and one of only three to accomplish the feat in twelve years.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIDEO:

“Everything that I’m trying to be with music and now somehow television, Glen Campbell was the inventor of that in Country music in my eyes,” says Blake Shelton.

See Paul McCartney meet Glen Campbell backstage at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards where he humorously sings “Rhinestone Cowboy” to the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Winner.

“We always kind of fight for respect a little bit as Country players. And here’s a guy that played on these records that, he could stand toe to toe with anybody,” says Brad Paisley.

“He’s left his mark in the music industry time and time again and will continue to and he’s continuing to do it now, again, in the latter part of his life…. I find that to be so inspiring. Musicians like Glen, it’s magical, what they did. It’s magic,” says Chad Smith (Drummer, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

THE BAND PERRY WILL ADVISE TEAM BLAKE ON SEASON SIX OF NBC'S THE VOICE

AWARD-WINNING FAMILY TRIO FEATURED ON 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD

The Band Perry performs
The Band Perry performs "DONE" at Superbowl 2014

NASHVILLE, TN - On the heels of their dynamic performance on the NFL and Fox's Super Bowl LXVIII Tailgate pregame show, it was announced today that sibling trio THE BAND PERRY will be advising Blake Shelton's team during the "Battle Rounds" on Season Six of NBC's The Voice. Tune into the season premiere of The Voice, Monday, February 24, 2014 at 8PM EST / 7PM CST on NBC.

"Blake didn't have to ask us twice if we wanted to mentor his team this season on The Voice, " said The Band Perry.  "It was so much fun to work with Team Blake, and after 15 years of receiving plenty of 'constructive criticism,' it was our turn to pay it forward.  We just hope we were as helpful to Blake's team as our own mentors have been to us through the years."

It was also announced the award-winning family trio will be featured on the 40th Anniversary re-mastered edition of Elton John's 1973 seminal breakthrough album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, with their version of the song "Grey Seal."  The reissued CD will be released March 24, 2014 by Universal Music Catalogue / Mercury on CD, vinyl, limited-edition yellow vinyl, and in a box set featuring recording of 'Live At Hammersmith 1973' on CD, a DVD of Bryan Forbes' 1973 film 'Elton John and Bernie Taupin Say Goodbye To Norma Jean and Other Things', along with a 100-page illustrated hardback book packed with rare photos, memorabilia and new essay containing interviews with Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

"Elton John is a musical hero of ours, and to be included in a project with him is something that is beyond our wildest dreams," said the band.

Last week, The Band Perry received two award nominations from the Academy of Country Music for "Vocal Group of The Year" and "Music Video of The Year" for their #1 smash "Better Dig Two." In 2012 and 2013 the band received nominations in the "Vocal Group of the Year" category. In 2011, the award-winning trio was nominated for five Academy of Country Music Awards and won, "New Artist of the Year" and "Best New Vocal Duo or Group."

The Band Perry is currently on the road on their WE ARE PIONEERS WORLD TOUR. A full list of dates can be found at www.thebandperry.com.

Blake Shelton bringing his "Ten Times Craier Tour" to Verion Friday night for sold out show

Blake Shelton performing at Verizon last year.

Story and photos by Scott Kiefer

It seems as though the hit television singing competition show "The Voice" is making an impact in St. Louis in the next few days, beginning with the Blake Shelton "Ten Times Crazier" tour with a sellout show Friday night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, folllowed by a sellout show of castmast Adam Levine's Maroon Five tour stop at the same venue on August 1.
With the success of The Voice on NBC, St. Louis was even a part of the audition this past weekend at Chaifetz Arena.
All of the success of the television series, his accolades in country music, and marriage to fellow country star Miranda Lambert, haven't changed Shelton's outlook on his career.
More than a decade into a career whose opening salvo was the chart-topping "Austin," that transparency has helped Blake become one of the best ambassadors the country music genre has ever had, in a league with Glen Campbell and Roger Miller.
Careers have been known to flounder when artists reach beyond their core strengths into uncharted territory, but Blake's has only strengthened, primarily because he has never lost focus on the basis of everything he does--the music.
"I've spent a lifetime in love with country music," he says. "I listened all the time as a kid and I was playing and singing before I was a teenager. I moved to Nashville at 17 to make music and since then I've put everything I have into doing it right."
The results of that approach speak for themselves. He is reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and three-time Male Vocalist of the Year, and he and Miranda garnered Song of the Year honors for co-writing her platinum-selling chart-topper, "Over You." He has earned a host of other awards and nominations, including multiple Grammy nominations, six gold and platinum albums, and is the three-time host of the ACM Awards.
His current tour serves as an indication that all of his hard work has paid off.
The "Ten Times Crazier" party started well before doors opened last weekend for Blake's sold-out shows. Tailgaters arrived first thing in the morning; lining up to block real estate in the parking lot and set up camp for what became an ode to their favorite reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year. Even Blake was blown away by the response of his fans.
"I heard music playing and just figured it was beach goers but then I went outside and realized my fans had arrived earlier in the morning to tailgate," Shelton said. "Here we are in New York and there are pickup trucks and cowboy hats filling out the parking lot at Jones Beach. That was beyond anything I had anticipated."

The “Ten Times Crazier” tour is exactly that -- it is crazier than anything you might expect.  In addition to performing many of his No. 1 hit singles, Blake performs some older classics and keeps his fans guessing with a couple surprises throughout the show that you have to be there to see for yourself. All three dates this past weekend sold out with over 50,000 fans in attendance and tickets for this coming weekend’s dates have topped 60,000, selling out St. Louis, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The “Ten Times Crazier” tour features special guests Mercury Recording artist, Easton Corbin, and ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year, Jana Kramer and has dates running through the fall.

With nine consecutive No. 1 singles (fourteen overall) Blake is one of the "most versatile of contemporary country singers" (The New York Times). His infectious multi-week No.1 hit, “Honey Bee" still holds the record for the fastest-selling digital Platinum single for a male country solo artist and just off the heels of his No. 1 smash hit “Boys ‘Round Here,” the follow up single “Mine Would Be You” is impacting radio now.
Shelton’s passion for country music and his commitment to mentoring his teammates from The Voice make him an incredible ambassador for country music. He is the featured cover story in the August issue of Men's Journal magazine, and discusses his not-so-much residency in California for a large portion of the year, and how he enjoys flying home Oklahoma to get away from the pressures of being a television and recording star.
Shelton will spend most weekends from now through the fall on tour, and the weekdays taping "The Voice."
"There's no time to slow down now," Shelton says, "we gotta keep this thing running."

The show Friday night is a sellout... for information, log on to www.livenation.com

Tickets for “Country Music’s Biggest Night™” Sold Out Fourth Year in a Row

NASHVILLE – Nominees for “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” Eli Young Band, Brantley Gilbert, reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Lady Antebellum, and reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Blake Shelton join the performance lineup for “Country Music’s Biggest Night™.” Tickets for the three-hour gala have sold out for the fourth year in a row.
“The 46th Annual CMA Awards,” hosted for the fifth time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network. Previously announced performers include Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Paisley, The Band Perry, Underwood, and Zac Brown Band.
New to the Vocal Group of the Year category with their first CMA Awards nomination is the Eli Young Band. But it wasn’t the only “first” associated with the group. Songwriters Will Hoge and Eric Paslay, each received their first CMA Awards nomination for Song of the Year for writing “Even if It Breaks Your Heart,” which was recorded by the Eli Young Band. The song was the first No. 1 for Hoge, who is a solo artist in his own right. Paslay also has a blossoming solo career and has penned songs for Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, and Love and Theft.
Gilbert received his first CMA Awards nomination in the New Artist of the Year category in 2012 and he will be making his first CMA Awards performance on the three-hour gala. Artists can only be included in this category two times.
Lady Antebellum, the reigning Vocal Group of the Year for the past three consecutive years, is nominated in that category again in 2012. The group is also nominated for Album of the Year for Own The Night, which the group produced with Paul Worley making them eligible to receive a second trophy for producing the nominated record.
Shelton received four CMA Awards nominations including a shared nomination for Song of the Year for “Over You” with wife Lambert. Only a handful of married couples have penned Song of the Year nominees including “Mommas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys” by Ed and Patsy Bruce (1978), and two songs by Sanger D. “Whitey” Shafer: “Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind” with his third wife Darlene Shafer in 1985, and “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” with his fourth wife Lydia Shafer in 1987. Tammy Wynette and George Richey wrote “’Til I Can Make It On My Own” with Billy Sherrill, which was nominated for Song of the Year in 1976, but they did not marry until 1978.
In addition to Song of the Year, Shelton picked up nominations for Entertainer of the Year; Male Vocalist of the Year; and Single of the Year for “God Gave Me You,” produced by Scott Hendricks. Popular singer/songwriter Dave Barnes received a Song of the Year nomination for writing “God Gave Me You.”
Winners of “The 46th Annual CMA Awards” will be determined in a final round of voting by eligible voting members of the Country Music Association. CMA Awards balloting is officiated by the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Voting for the CMA Awards final ballot ends Monday, Oct. 22 (5:00 PM/CT).

BLAKE SHELTON INVITES KENNY LOGGINS TO JOIN HIS PERFORMANCE OF "FOOTLOOSE" AS THE OPENING SONG ON "THE 45th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS"

NASHVILLE - Reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Blake Shelton has invited legendary singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins to join him during a performance of the classic hit "Footloose" as the opening song for "The 45th Annual CMA Awards."

"The 45th Annual CMA Awards," hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 9 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network. Previously announced performers for "Country Music's Biggest Night(tm)" include Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Thompson Square, Keith Urban, Chris Young, and Zac Brown Band, plus Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter singing their hit collaboration "You and Tequila;" Vince Gill, Paisley, and Urban performing a tribute to Glen Campbell; Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield singing their current hit duet "Easy;" Lionel Richie performing select duets with Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and Darius Rucker; and co-hosts Paisley and Underwood in their first live televised-performance of their No. 1 song "Remind Me."

Written by Loggins and Dean Pitchford as the title song for the motion picture of the same name, "Footloose" was a No. 1 smash hit for Loggins for three weeks in 1984. With the remake of the movie currently in theaters, Shelton is dancing up the charts with his version of the song.

Loggins has built a successful, decades-spanning career on the foundation of his songs. He first received national attention as part of the duo Loggins & Messina with Jim Messina, achieving hits such as "Your Mama Don't Dance" and selling more than 16 million albums. As a songwriter, he wrote or co-wrote such classics as "Danny's Song" (a Top 10 hit on both the Billboard Country and Hot 100 charts for Anne Murray in 1972), "A Love Song" (also a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Country Singles chart for Murray in 1974), and "What A Fool Believes" (which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979 for co-writer Michael McDonald's band The Doobie Brothers). As a solo artist, Loggins wrote and/or recorded such favorites as "Whenever I Call You 'Friend'" (a duet with Stevie Nicks), "This is It," "I'm Alright," "Heart to Heart," "Meet Me Halfway," "Danger Zone," "Conviction of the Heart," "For the First Time," "House at Pooh Corner," and more.

Shelton received five CMA Awards nominations this year including Entertainer; Male Vocalist; Album for All About Tonight; and Single and Music Video of the Year, both for "Honey Bee." This feat tied him with Aldean, Paisley, and Swift as the artists who received the most CMA Awards nominations in 2011. This is the first year that Shelton has been nominated in the Entertainer and Album of the Year categories.  He has won two CMA Awards thus far in his career. In addition to Male Vocalist, he also won Musical Event of the Year in 2010 for his performance of "Hillbilly Bone" with Trace Adkins. Shelton's current album is Red River Blue, featuring the Platinum-certified digital single "Honey Bee" and his fifth consecutive No. 1 hit "God Gave Me You." In total, Shelton has racked up 10 No. 1 hits.
