NASHVILLE, TN (June 21, 2019) — With momentum still high following their fourth career No. 1, MULTI-PLATINUM hitmakers ELI YOUNG BAND are releasing an introspective new single today with “Break It In” via The Valory Music Co. Under producer Dann Huff, the tune explores lessons in life and love that are only learned over time well spent. As showcased through vivid Benjy Davis, Brandon Day, Daniel Ross, and Michael Whitworth-penned lyrics, EYB further delivers a booming chorus: “Like these dusty boots that walked me through / The work that got me here / And these faded jeans with Skoal can rings / I’ve worn out all these years / When the shine wears off, when you lose that gloss / There’s so much more underneath it all / You think that good is good as it can get / Then you break it in.”

“We definitely didn't just start a band and have instant success. We’ve continued to build it up over the years — we broke it in,” shares EYB. "We’ve been blessed to have had our moments of being able to sit back and soak it all in. ‘Break It In’ carries a message you learn with time, and we’re so excited for these lyrics to be heard far and wide!”

“Break It In” closely follows THIS IS ELI YOUNG BAND: GREATEST HITS, which features chart-toppers – “Love Ain’t,” PLATINUM "Drunk Last Night,” 2X PLATINUM “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” and 3X PLATINUM “Crazy Girl.” EYB has always been unique in modern Country music as a true band of brothers who cling fast to their Texas roots and has maintained an impressive trajectory with singles earning Billboard's #1 Country Song of the Year and ACM Awards Song of the Year. They have previously earned multiple nominations from GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Awards.

While selling out venues as a headliner from coast-to-coast, EYB has toured with Jason Aldean, Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, and Darius Rucker. They will continue to bring these fan-favorites and more on the road this summer with several festival appearances. NASHVILLE, TN (March 29, 2019) – MULTI-PLATINUM chart-toppers deliver THIS IS ELI YOUNG BAND: GREATEST HITS via The Valory Music Co. everywhere today. The hearty 14-track collection is a culmination of their nearly two-decade long career, plus an introduction to charging anthem “Love Ain’t,” which is on the cusp of Top 10 at Country radio, and “Where Were You.” While on the West Coast this afternoon, EYB chatted with fans online prior to the release of their Vevo official live performance of “Where Were You” Video Premiere, filmed last month at the New York City headquarters. Watch Here: https://youtu.be/6POlvF4aN5Q.

"Those kids in that garage band we started out as wouldn’t have expected we would be where we are now, and what is still ahead of us. Fans from day one, and fans jumping in to discover us now – you are, as cliché as this sentiment can be, making all of it possible," shared EYB on Instagram. "This album brings the songs you love most to one place! Thankful for the past, and excited for the future. We hope you will turn it on, up, and sing along!"

Revisiting their early days on the road when many of their signature tracks were created, EYB compiled a playlist titled “Songs From the Van” for Billboard and “features both superstar rockers (Queen) and introspective singer-songwriters (Marc Broussard), all of whom put an emphasis on harmonies and instrumentals the way Eli Young Band does.” Collectively sharing the theme, EYB recalls, “Although these are all songs and artists that have influenced our music, these more specifically capture a moment in time for us when it was just the four of us – in a van – taking on the world one small stage at a time.” Listen to EYB’s picks here.

Formed at the University of North Texas, EYB’s journey features #1 hits PLATINUM "Drunk Last Night,” 2X PLATINUM “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” and 3X PLATINUM “Crazy Girl.” Globally, they have racked up over 2.8 billion in streams. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ELI YOUNG BAND TO RELEASE ANTHEMIC
“SALTWATER GOSPEL” MARKING THEIR FIRST SINGLE OFF THEIR FORTHCOMING STUDIO ALBUM
ON THE VALORY MUSIC CO.

Preview “Saltwater Gospel” Now: http://geni.us/saltwatergospel

Cover Art Courtesy of The Valory Music Co.
Nashville, TN (June 3, 2016) – Eli Young Band gave their fans some much-anticipated news this morning, announcing their latest single “Saltwater Gospel” across social media. Marking the band’s first single for The Valory Music Co., the song will ship to radio next week and will be available on iTunes next Friday, June 10. “Saltwater Gospel” marks the band's first single for The Valory Music Co. and is a follow up to EYB’s three chart-topping hits “Crazy Girl,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Drunk Last Night.”

The anthemic hook in “Saltwater Gospel” immediately transports the listener to their favorite beach, where the mystical power of the ocean melts away the troubles of everyday life – while connecting them to their own spirituality.  In less than four minutes, the track has the transformative ability to mirror the uplifting effect of the ocean, the sand and the breeze. Like the rhythm of the waves, verse-by-verse, the song lifts the listener higher and higher, with its steady pulse and soulful cadence.
“I’m out here by myself, but I know I'm not alone
Yeah I got all the proof I need
and it sure makes me believe

When I go down and sink my feet in the water
and I soak up that sun and I watch it set.
Yeah, I can feel the power of the saltwater gospel
I’m as close to God as I can get.
Ooooooo, Oooooo, Yeah….”
Lead singer Mike Eli noted, “sometimes you just have that gut feeling you've come across something special. When I heard this song, it moved me. I love that it is about so much more than just saltwater.”

EYB’s producer Ross Copperman and hit-makers Nicolle Galyon and Ashley Gorley penned “Saltwater Gospel,” infusing all of the hallmarks of a smash. The lead single will be featured on their forthcoming – and first – album for The Valory Music Co., which the band is currently in the studio recording. EYB will debut their new music at select tour dates this summer.

Big Machine Label Group President & CEO Scott Borchetta exclaims, "The Eli Young Band are back with perhaps the most infectious new song of the summer. Don’t overthink it, just let 'Saltwater Gospel' play and let it wash over you. You will then know that summer has truly arrived.”

Eli Young Band Stays In Step With Fans

By Lorie Hollabaugh
© 2014 CMA Close Up® News Service / Country Music Association®, Inc.
Some artists might cringe when presented with an old publicity photo to sign during a backstage meet-and-greet or at CMA Music Festival — but not the members of Eli Young Band.
For guitarist/lead vocalist Mike Eli, bassist Jon Jones, drummer Chris Thompson and guitarist James Young, vintage pics document their long journey toward their current status as hitmakers. They know they owe their success to their fans and are always thinking of ways to keep that connection with them alive.
Their latest outreach offered something extra with a preorder of their latest album, 10,000 Towns. They made it even more special by including a signed Polaroid with every order, getting some serious writer’s cramp in the process.
“It’s hard to find something that is truly unique anymore, that is one of a kind, because everything can be so mass produced and duplicated,” Jones explained. “Even if somebody has just autographed a piece of memorabilia, it doesn’t feel that special in a way. There’s just something about a Polaroid picture. We’re in the picture, we’re taking the picture, and it just feels like something different. Even before the digital age, if I could have gotten that from a band I loved, that would have been totally worth the price of admission.”
EYB’s members appreciate that thrill of something that an artist signed or posed for, just for you. “Sometimes you’re sitting in the meet-and-greet, or you meet somebody at a restaurant and they say, ‘I love your music! Can I take your picture?’ As a fan, I know it’s great to have that moment and that picture, because it doesn’t exist anywhere else,” Eli said.
The band members have put a premium on cultivating personal ties with fans since the earliest days of their career. From the beginning, they used meet-and-greets as opportunities to spend quality time with their fans one-on-one.
“If the guys aren’t in a rush to go to the next town, they’ll go out and sign and meet people as often as possible,” said the group’s manager, George Couri of Triple 8 Management. “They’ll sign for everyone. They recently did a signing on release week and signed for over five hours. They stayed and signed until every person was done. It filled up, and we kept thinking it was going to get a little bit shorter. But people kept showing up, and they kept signing until everyone was gone. It’s hard to measure what impact that has, but it doesn’t matter. If there’s time to do it, they do it. These people are excited to get that time with them, and it makes the guys happy.”
All four insist that smaller, intimate shows for radio and contest winners are particularly helpful in staying connected. For example, they enjoy holding release parties for each new album along with special events such as last year’s Eli Young Band House Party before 18,000 fans at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park Ballpark in Arlington, Texas. (Guests included Easton Corbin, Josh Abbott Band and Thompson Square.)
Their love of connecting and performing has enabled the group to welcome thousands of fans nationwide as they’ve toured with Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Darius Rucker and other artists. “For any of us, some of the best moments we have in life are when we’re up on that stage in front of all those people, and they’re cheering for us,” Young reflected. “It’s just the greatest feeling when we know we’re connecting with fans and giving other people the same experience we had when we were fans.”

The Eli Young Band will hit Ballpark Village in St Louis as part of the Jagemeister presents series.

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., = -- Jagermeister, the 7th largest premium spirits brand in the world and #1 selling imported liqueur in the United States, is proud to announce Jagermeister's Ultimate Summer of Music, the brand's largest music initiative to date. While the iconic brand has a deeply rooted history in music, this is the first time Jagermeister will sponsor three separate acts on three nationwide tours headlined by Fall Out Boy, Eli Young Band, and Paul Oakenfold.
Jagermeister's Ultimate Summer of Music kicks off on May 16th and includes over 30 concerts nationwide through September. "Jagermeister has been supporting musicians of all genres for more than 20 years," said Cliff Rigano, Director of Music Marketing for Jagermeister at Sidney Frank Importing Company, Inc. "We've always prided ourselves on working with some of the most well respected acts in the industry but we have yet to bring 3 top acts from 3 different genres together. Each of these artists consistently deliver legendary, high-energy shows that we know our diverse consumer set will love.  Simply put:  Jagermeister makes music sound better."
This year marks the first time the brand has taken a multi-genre approach to the tour, signing on some of the most successful musical acts in the industry. From an industry legend like Paul Oakenfold to Eli Young Band, whose latest album and three singles have topped the country charts, to Fall Out Boy, whose latest album, Save Rock and Roll, continues to top the charts, Jagermeister is bringing the best of three music genres to fans this summer. As an added bonus, country artist Rick Monroe and comic Jim Florentine will emcee select dates.
"Jager has been associated with clubs and club music for many years. It is a very popular drink in my community and I'm very happy to be working alongside them on this tour," said Paul Oakenfold.
"Since we've been known to take shots on stage, we thought, Jager and EYB is a no brainer," said Mike Eli, lead singer of Eli Young Band. "Count us in!"
"We're stoked to be a part of Jager's Summer of Music program. We can't wait to get out there with New Politics this summer and give big thanks to Jagermeister for supporting us," adds Fall Out Boy.

ELI YOUNG BAND TOPS BILLBOARD COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART WITH 10,000 TOWNS

CRITICS AROUND THE COUNTRY ARE RAVING ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM

“New album 10,000 TOWNS solidifies band’s standing in country music.” USA Today

Courtesy of Republic Nashville

Nashville, TN (March 13, 2014) – Eli Young Band’s 10,000 TOWNS made its debut at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, marking a career first for the band of brothers. The chart-topping album scored EYB their best first-week sales to date, landing them a coveted Top 5 spot on the Billboard 200. The album also claimed the #1 spot last week on the iTunes Country Albums Chart upon its release.

“Wow! This is exciting news. This is another one of those career milestones you dream about. We couldn’t be happier,” said Mike Eli.

Critics around the country continue to churn out rave reviews. Associated Press complimented the band saying 10,000 TOWNS, “gives plenty of reasons for cities across America to embrace them with open arms.” While Chicago Sun-Times boasts,“(EYB) continues to prove why they matter, why they REALLY matter to country music, with the release of 10,000 TOWNS.” The Dallas Morning News claims, “10,000 TOWNS has succeeded in doing what the Eli Young Band set out to do: make a fun record their fans will want to hear live.”

The ACM Vocal Group of the Year nominees wrote more than half of the songs on 10,000 TOWNS and co-produced the record with Frank Liddell and Justin Niebank. The amped up level of involvement in the creative process makes them even more thankful for the success of the new album. “We really wanted to record songs that would be fun for our fans,” said James Young. “We’ve also learned to follow our gut when it comes to song selection and recording. We wrote a lot more for this record and had a chance to co-produce the album as well. We’re just glad our fans are enjoying it.”

While the album has received glowing reviews, the band’s radio singles are also getting recognition. EYB’s latest #1 smash “Drunk Last Night” was tapped as #6 on acclaimed music critic Jody Rosen’s Top 100 Songs of the Year list in New York Magazine. Their new single, “Dust,” was described by Country Weekly as “an absolutely relentless performance by the band, powered by raging guitars on the chorus, is a perfect compliment to the lyrics, giving you the sound-to-sense feeling of movement and desperation.”

The group is currently touring Australia with Darius Rucker and will hit the road this summer with Jake Owen to perform the new songs for fans across the country.

Fueled with a #1 single, #1 album, an extensive tour schedule and additional praise from top-tier outlets like USA Today, Rolling Stone, Billboard and American Songwriter, EYB is poised for a SUCCESS!
