(July 14, 2016) – Without a doubt, Dolly Parton continues to be one of the most aggressive artists in music when it comes to marketing themselves, and the Country Music Hall of Fame member continues that trend with the upcoming August 19 release of her new disc Pure & Simple – with four different pre-order bundles to help promote the album. POP EVIL have revealed another new track titled "Ghost Of Muskegon" today exclusively through Michigan's #1 news source, MLIVE.COM. "Growing up as a Musician from Muskegon Michigan, I had to learn at an early age that you needed to make a lot of waves to be heard," says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. "Particularly, if I wanted to move forward out of Western Michigan. When writing the concept of this song I noticed that even though I had made a lot waves, I was still unknown. In theory, this is the story of the struggle it is to become a World Renowned Rock Artist."

The latest track comes during a very busy month for Pop Evil. Earlier this week the band debuted the music video for their hit single, "Footsteps." The video was directed by long-time collaborator Johan Carlén who has helmed the last handful of visually stunning music videos the band has released including "Trenches," "Deal With The Devil" and "Torn to Pieces." 

Just last week the band debuted another new track from their fourth studio album titled "Dead in the Water" exclusively via Popmatters.com. The new track dropped on the heels of their highly successful first radio single "Footsteps," which debuted in June and is currently #3 on the Rock Radio Charts. "Footsteps" has already been a featured ESPN sync track. "Footsteps" is not only the fastest charting single the band has to date, but is also the fastest growing Independent Record Label Single at Rock Radio this year.
