Dierks Bentley will soon be loading up his bus for the 2014 Riser Tour — and he’s bringing along some very special guests!
Jon Pardi, Chase Rise, and Chris Young will join the ‘I Hold On’ hitmaker on his 2014 road run, which he announced via Twitter in a seriously creative way, hacking CMT’s page to share clues.
“Can’t wait to ‘Stay Up All Night’ and “party” with this dude,” Bentley wrote, hinting at Pardi’s place on the tour. “Here comes the next artist on the #RISERTOUR! Ready, set, roll..” he added, breaking the news about Rice.
“The last guy on the #RISERTOUR sounds good in the AM or PM. Can’t wait to see him play under the ‘Neon,’” the singer concluded, giving away the final act on his Riser Tour — Chris Young.
With a slew of talented acts booked to light up the stage, the 2014 Riser Tour is poised to please not only fans, but Bentley, too.
“This tour is the culmination of everything I’ve been working on for the past two years, both out on the road and in the studio recording Riser,” the star says. “I know what my fans want: a kick a– show, an affordable ticket and a good parking lot scene to get the pre-gaming going! The guys opening the show and getting the party started all know how to put on a great live show, and when it comes time for my set, I can promise that we are going big!”
He adds, “I have never been more excited about a tour.” The run kicks off May 9 in Charlotte, N.C.
In addition to his tour, the singer is also preparing to release his seventh studio album, ‘Riser,’ which will street Feb. 25. That same week, Bentley will appear at the first-ever Tropical Nights: Boots in the Sand event in Mexico. This summer, he’s booked for the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival.

Chris Young Is First Country Artist To Participate
In The Recording Academy
® ReImagined Series
Young Covers "Change the World" Exclusively For GRAMMY.com

Nashville, TN (October 11, 2013) – RCA Records singer-songwriter Chris Young recently performed an impressive rendition of Eric Clapton’s classic hit "Change The World" for an installment of ReImagined – a new online series launched by the GRAMMY Awards® and The Recording Academy®, which spotlights contemporary artists talking about and performing their own take on GRAMMY®-honored songs.  Young’s stirring performance, shot in Los Angeles late last month, and an interview about the song can be seen exclusively at GRAMMY.com beginning today.

Young is the first country artist to participate in the new web series, created to connect the legacy of the GRAMMY’s with the present and future.  The 28 year old vocalist, who Billboard Magazine recently said “Possesses one of the strongest, most distinctive voices among country’s current crop,” earned his own GRAMMY nomination in 2011 for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for one of his five No. 1 hits, GOLD-selling single, "Gettin' You Home."

Fans can also check out exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and an interview from the set on the TV news series, OMG! Insider.

Just weeks after releasing his critically acclaimed new album, A.M., Young isn’t slowing down anytime soon.  His current single, “Aw Naw,” broke into the Top 10 this week on the country radio charts, and he is about to kick off the fall leg of Brad Paisley’s Beat This Summer Tour on October 17th.

The year began with a sold-out headlining show, TV performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Talk, and the 47th annual ACM Awards on CBS, a sold-out tour with Miranda Lambert, ACM nominations for Male Vocalist and Single of the Year and his fifth consecutive chart-topper.  The list continues to expand with one PLATINUM and four GOLD RIAA certified singles plus a GOLD album for his sophomore release, The Man I Want To Be. The prior year saw nominations for CMA New Artist of the Year along with his first Grammy nod. He won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Single of the Year at the 2011 American Country Awards and has made nine national TV appearances since the release of his acclaimed third record, NEON, on RCA Records Nashville. About Thomas Rhett: Hailing from Valdosta, GA, music has been a part of twenty-two-year-old Thomas Rhett’s life for as long as he can remember. He grew up in a musical family watching father Rhett Akins work as an artist and a hit songwriter. In high school, Thomas Rhett dabbled in songwriting and playing guitar before forming a band with some friends. In 2010, while still a student at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Thomas Rhett signed his first publishing deal with EMI. Shortly thereafter he landed his first cut on Jason Aldean’s platinum-selling album MY KINDA PARTY with “I Ain’t Ready To Quit.” Just a year later, he signed a record contract with The Valory Music Co. He is currently in the studio working on his debut album with famed producer Jay Joyce, which will feature the Top 15 debut single, “Something To Do With My Hands,” and current single “Beer With Jesus.” This summer, Thomas Rhett has been an opener on Toby Keith’s Live In Overdrive Tour, Presented by Ford F-series. Previously, he’s toured with Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pat Green, among others. Visit ThomasRhett.com for tour dates and more.

About Joanna Smith: Joanna Smith’s laser focus as a country singer/songwriter was born out of one simple fact – music was engrained in her soul from a young age, and nothing was going to get in the way of a dream that for hers is more of a destiny. A native of Crestview (Unincorporated), Georgia, her reverence for tradition, a healthy respect for the present and a desire to make her mark on the future have all led to now, to a deal with RCA Records and sitting side-by-side with acclaimed producer Buddy Cannon (Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire) making country music with themes of heartbreak, forgiveness, and even good ol’ fashioned murder. Her Be What It Wants To Be EP, which hit stores earlier this year, contains her new hit “We Can’t Be Friends.” Visit www.JoannaSmithOfficial.com to learn more.

Chris Young get third straight #1

CHRIS YOUNG CELEBRATES THIRD CONSECUTIVE #1 SINGLE, “VOICES”

GRAMMY®-Nominated Singer/Songwriter Shatters 25-Year Chart Record as “Voices” Bounds to #1 Song in Nation

Nashville, TN...(February 7, 2011)...GRAMMY®-nominated performer Chris Young is celebrating a hat-trick today as “Voices” becomes his third consecutive #1 single from his sophomore album, The Man I Want To Be. “Voices” takes the #1 position on both the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Aircheck charts.

The feat is made even sweeter as Young breaks a 25-year record, marking only the second time in the modern era of the Billboard country chart that an artist re-released the same recording to chart-topping status. “Voices” becomes the first re-release to reach #1 since Randy Travis’s “On The Other Hand” went to the top in 1986 after initially peaking at #67.

“Voices” – co-written by Young, Chris Tompkins, and Craig Wiseman – was first released summer 2008 and originally peaked on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart at #37 as the debut single from Young’s sophomore album, The Man I Want To Be. “Gettin’ You Home” and “The Man I Want To Be” enjoyed back-to-back #1 success, with today’s #1 “Voices,” completing the trifecta.

On the heels of this exciting news the brand new single “TOMORROW,” from Young’s highly anticipated forthcoming summer album release, delivers digitally to country radio TODAY.

ABOUT CHRIS YOUNG: Recently nominated for his first GRAMMY Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance with his hit, “Gettin’ You Home,” Young is currently on the road for the second leg of Rascal Flatts’ Nothing Like This Tour.
