ELI YOUNG BAND EARNS MAJOR AWARD NOMINATIONS FOR BREAKOUT HIT - "CRAZY GIRL"

BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARD NOD FOR COUNTRY SONG OF THE YEAR AND CMT MUSIC AWARD CONTENDER FOR GROUP VIDEO OF THE YEAR

Nashville, TN (April 26, 2012) -- The Eli Young Band continues to rack up award nominations for their #1, platinum hit “Crazy Girl” off of their critically-acclaimed album LIFE AT BEST on Republic Nashville. In the last week EYB has earned a Billboard Music Award nod for Country Song of The Year and CMT Music Award nomination for Group Video Of The Year. The band has also garnered a slot in a special category at the CMT Music Awards for the fan-voted Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award, given to Country Music’s best new live act. Earlier this month, the band took home the Song Of The Year award at the Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, where they were also nominated for Single Of The Year and Vocal Group Of The Year.

The award nominations underscore the undeniable fact that the Eli Young Band is on a hot streak and are on their way to becoming one of the hottest bands in country music. In the last year, the band has been certified PLATINUM, made the climb to #1 at Country radio, topped the iTunes Country Album Chart and performed on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Late Show With David Letterman, the ACA Awards on FOX and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
