Nickelback at St. Louis!!

Nickelback brings Here & Now tour to Scottrade, Bush is a no-show

Canadian supergroup Nickelback swept through St. Louis on their current 'Here & Now' tour Tuesday evening bringing their catalog of hits and new music to a near sold-out crow at Scottrade Center.
The group's tour is a massive one that also stars Bush, Seether, and My Darkest Days, however Bush cancelled their portion of the show. As fans approached the doors to Scottrade signs at the door stated that Bush would not perform "due to unforeseen circumstances," which were never explained to the fans. However officials at the venue stated that there was a flight delay from Denver that held up lead singer Gavin Rossdale.
None the less, the show went on with adjusted show times, allowing Seether and extended set, with Nickelback taking the stage at 8:30 instead of the scheduled 9 p.m., which actually was a good thing considering it was a Tuesday night show that was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger and brother Mike, along with guitarist/vocalist Ryan Peake and drummer Daniel Adair treated fans to 90 minutes of typical Nickelback rock 'roll flare, much to the delight of their die-hard fans,
Complete with pyrotechnics, lasers, massive video screens, the band switched it up throughout the night with staples as "Photograph,"  "If Today Was Your Last Day," " Something In Your Mouth," along with "Bottoms Up," and "This Means War," from the 'Here and Now' album. Of course, fan favorite and mega-hit "Rockstar," had the audience singing along.
The highlight of the evening had to be when the band left the stage to run through the audience to a secondary stage at the back of the venue, to entertain those who didn't have a close up view. As the fans thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it was in true rock and roll fashion that the boys stage rose in the air, rotated and "floated" around inside the venue, bringing the true "awe factor" to the evening.
No matter what many say about Nickelback about being to 'pop-rock' or generic and predictable, their continued high-grossing tours and record sales prove that they do have fans. Fans who want to see them. Fans who they care about giving the best show possible to.
Needless to say, they have succeeded.
