Night Visions arrived later that year and Imagine Dragons found themselves on a skyward trajectory that saw the album debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, sell nearly four million copies worldwide, and became the No. 1 album on Spotify Worldwide for 2013. Night Visions' second single, the 9x-platinum "Radioactive," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock chart and earned the band a 2014 Grammy for "Best Rock Performance." It is the best-selling rock song in U.S. digital history. The third single, "Demons," hit No. 1 at Alternative and Top 40 radio, and has sold 3.9 million copies in the U.S. The band has sold more than 24 million tracks worldwide and has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.

Steely Dan, Elvis Costello & The Imposters book Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre show

February 12, 2015 — The Steely Dan ROCKABYE GOLLIE ANGEL TOUR kicks off in April with seven western shows bracketing two weekends at 2015's Coachella Festival.
Then the tour explodes into summer as Special Guest Elvis Costello & The Imposters joins the bill for 23 U.S. dates running July 6 - August 12.
[ Full Tour Schedule ]

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Walter Becker and Donald Fagen will bring Steely Dan to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 10 and April 17. A fortnight of area shows — including an added second show in San Diego — rounds out The Dan's spring ramp-up to a smoking summer schedule.
Said schedule consists of 23 U.S. dates running July 6 to August 12, reaching north, south, east, and west. When Special Guest and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elvis Costello ( & The Imposters) join up for all the summer dates, audiences will enjoy a full evening of masterly musicianship and songwriting nonparei; truly, a music-lover's dream of a double bill. Wisenheimers welcome.
On-sale dates for many shows begin next week: pre-sale dates will be posted online within hours. See steelydan.com for the full touring schedule (which is also below) and ticketing information. All events will also be posted on Steely Dan's Facebook page.
Becker and Fagen's long-standing supporting ensemble has earned the reputation of perhaps the finest touring band on stage today. The Santa Barbara Independent concurs: "... one of the greatest recording groups of the late 20th century looks set to also be remembered as one of the best touring acts of the 21st."
Joining Fagen on vocals and keyboards, and Becker on guitar, eight individual virtuosos come together to animate selections from The Dan's extraordinary four-decade catalog, serving up the tight, irresistible grooves and the swinging, sleek aural richness of one of the most iconic repertoires in modern popular music. The Dan's inimitably sly, subversive lyrics over rich ensembles, blazing solo work, and soulful vocal harmonies; they all add up to sets "distinguished by ... muscularity, finesse and chopsmanship." (Toronto Globe & Mail) — and they also add up to still more audiences blown back in their seats — when they're not up dancing — by astonishing musical power and the psychosonic joy of hearing their favorites brought to life.
These superb supporting musicians are: Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, Jim Beard on keyboards, Jon Herington on guitar, Michael Leonhart on trumpet, Jim Pugh on trombone, Roger Rosenberg on baritone saxophone, Walt Weiskopf on saxophone, with La Tanya Hall, Carolyn Leonhart, and Cindy Mizelle offering up the sublime vocal harmonies emblematic of that utterly unique "Steely Dan sound". Band member bios and websites are here.
The full schedule of dates and their ticket links is at steelydan.com, which is also the site for updated tour news and information as becomes available. Up-to-date event information will also be posted on Steely Dan's Facebook page

PREVIEW THE MAVERICKS’ MONO ON NPR: FIRST LISTEN  NOW

Musical Comrades Release “Timeless” New Album (2/17) &
Launch Mono Mundo Tour (2/19) Next Week

Album Cover Art Courtesy of The Valory Music Co.
Nashville, TN ) – In anticipation of THE MAVERICKS’ album release next Tuesday, February 17, NPR: First Listen is previewing MONO (The Valory Music Co.) for fans a full week in advance. Esteemed critic Ann Powers claims, “Music this seductive earns the title timeless." Listen now via http://www.npr.org/2015/02/08/384056172/first-listen-the-mavericks-mono.
"Mono begins with a salsa workout, the sexy ‘All Night Long,’ and travels to the band's long-favorite Tejano territory for ‘Nitty Gritty.’ The fluidity of Latin music infuses the whole album, even when the flavor is Caribbean (‘When I'm With You’), heartaches-by-the-number country (‘Out The Door’) or Big Bopper rock (‘Stories We Could Tell’),” explains NPR’s Powers. "Their weapons are consummate skill, the clarion charisma of singer Raul Malo, and the wisdom to know that fun is what wins in the end.”

While in the studio the band realized that their songs required a different approach and the idea of creating an album without relying on stereo tricks of modern recording – in mono – was born. But it wasn’t the process alone that solidified the album title; with MONO, the band embraces cultural and musical diversity.

“When we went in to record this record, we were very resolved: we’d been through the time on the road, making the last album, living together as friends and as a band...We have nothing to lose, and only the music to gain,” says Malo, who along with his musical comrades believe in bringing people together – often in the name of good times and great music – which is the most universal language of all.

From their garage band roots in Miami Beach, The Mavericks have had a skill for melding a wealth of musical influences and getting people to groove. Industry awards, platinum albums, world tours, breakups and reformations later, The Mavericks recorded their critically-acclaimed album IN TIME and re-introduced music lovers to the band’s genre-defying music in 2013.

With the new release of MONO, The Mavericks find themselves making the most relevant music of their career, and according to NPR, “became great by cutting through the din in smoky rooms where studio tricks didn't factor in — only a killer voice, indelible hooks and the ability to draw in even the most distracted listeners.”

"The experience of making this record was quite unique. We had the luxury of a very finely tuned band and the energy from the last two years of touring under our belts. We all believed that it was going to be special and I think we would all agree that, our record MONO best represents what our band does live,” expresses guitarist Eddie Perez.

On February 19, The Mavericks will kick off their Mono Mundo Tour with headline dates domestically in Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston and internationally in London, Paris, Cologne, Hamburg, among others. Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers made a needle’s-eye leap onto the national music circuit in 2012, bringing with them a refreshing sound, spirited stage show and wellspring of good vibes, along with a turntable and milk crates stocked with their favorite vintage vinyl for backstage sustenance. Now, the San Francisco-based band and its striking front woman with a girl-next-door demeanor step out with Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, a luminous, heartfelt patchwork of California folk-rock, brisk Americana and show-stopping soul, punctuated with fresh four-part harmonies, crisp rock guitar and Nicki’s soaring, nuanced vocals that some critics say remind them of Linda Ronstadt.

Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE! is more than just the book.

After beginning in Paris in 2007, Men are From Mars–Women are From Venus LIVE! has been seen by more than one million people around Europe. It debuted in the United States in February 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina and will be playing to audiences around the United States and Canada throughout the year.

This hysterical show will have couples elbowing each other all evening as they see themselves on stage. Sexy and fast paced, this show is definitely for adults, but will leave audiences laughing and giggling like little kids!

Starring in this theatrical comedy is PETER STORY. Peter has appeared in primetime shows on all three major networks--some of his favorite credits include CSI (directed by Quentin Tarantino), Without a Trace, Ugly Betty and recurring roles on Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show and Rob Lowe’s The Lyon’s Den.  He stars opposite Steve Guttenberg in the cheesy horror film, Cornered, and can be seen opposite Weed’s Elizabeth Perkins in the hilarious short, Le Chat Est Mort.

He is a proud alum of the New Harmony Project and an avid storyteller with The Moth.

Peter's story of how he and his wife won a dream wedding competition was just featured nationally on NPR’s The Moth Radio Hour, a show featuring the country's best storytellers.

Commenting on the show, Peter said, “It's a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book. A delicious evening of entertainment.”

When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are earth-shatteringly hysterical.

Since being published in 1992, John Gray’s “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus,” exploring the differences between the sexes, has sold in excess of 50 million copies, been translated into 40 different languages and is one of the most recognizable titles in the world. Gray has written 17 books and become one of the most trusted relationship authors today, appearing on the national lecture circuit and on such TV shows as “Good Morning America,” “Oprah” and “Larry King Live.”

Producer, St. Louis based Emery Entertainment has produced or promoted thousands of events around the globe, including superstar attractions Blue Man Group, David Copperfield and James Taylor.

The talented team assembled for this production continues with the award winning playwright Eric Coble, direction by Broadway veteran Mindy Cooper, and animation & video production by the talented animators at Bazillion Productions.
