NASHVILLE, TN (July 7, 2017) – From adolescent basement sessions to walking down the aisle, Music City born-and-bred trio THE CADILLAC THREE were destined to leave a mark. The title track from their forthcoming album offers a rare sonic twist for the notoriously full-amped musicians and is out today in advance of LEGACY, out August 25 on Big Machine Records. American Songwriter premiered the title track, noting that the musical co-conspirators "exploring deeper themes and experimenting with new sounds." Watch the reflective behind-the-scenes footage from the studio to generations of family here: http://bit.ly/2tasX1V.

A natural progression for the band who has been creating music together since high school, “Legacy” offers a deep understanding of what is truly important – relationships. GRAMMY®-nominated, chart-topping songwriter and frontman Jaren Johnston penned the track alongside Ben Burgess and Laura Veltz delicately crafting lyrics like:

When I’m gone, my name carved in stone
Over husband, friend, and father
Survived by son, wife, and daughter
It won’t be songs that keep me livin’ on
Girl, as hall of fame as I wanna be
It’s a lot of love and a little family tree
Hell, that’s a legacy

"’Legacy’ is a song I am super proud of! In the past, I’ve given away songs of this caliber because I didn't feel our band was ready to take on that role … or maybe I wasn't ready to sing those types of lyrics, shared Jaren with American Songwriter. “I think our band is ready, and I am there now. This is the perfect song for where we all are in our lives.”

Another part of TC3’s past and future is their hometown heritage. On August 31, they will take the stage for their first-ever headline show at the historic Ryman Auditorium. “You grow up seeing your favorite bands with your buddies, date nights with your love and special shows with your family here,” explains Neil. “The Ryman is an institution, and we’re really excited – and honored – to share the night with so many people who’ve been a part of our journey. It’s always a crazy ride with The Cadillac Three!”

They’ll headline clubs and join festival lineups throughout the summer, blending “twang and classic lyrics about tailgating and whisky with the power chords of a metal group, proving how vast country and western music has become” (Winnipeg Free Press).

More fans across the globe will have a chance to see “Legacy” come to life when TC3 returns to Europe for their fall headline LONG HAIR DON’T CARE TOUR with special guests Brothers Osborne and Broken Witt Rebels. “We all may be from different parts of the world but it’s really cool to have the spirit of a song bring us together!” said Kelby. “We’re really looking forward to introducing some new tunes.” Already A listed at Planet Rock in the UK, lead single “Dang If We Didn’t” officially impacts Country radio in the US on July 10. NASHVILLE, TN (September 21, 2016) – Raucous trio THE CADILLAC THREE brought their Rock-heavy sound and Country-rooted anthem to NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers last night (9/20). Watch now: http://www.nbc.com/late-night-with-seth-meyers/video/the-cadillac-three-the-south/3102708. The Nashville natives marked their late night debut with a performance of “The South,” a standout track featured on BURY ME IN MY BOOTS (Big Machine Records). The fan-favorite is “signature, with singer Jaren Johnston leading crowds from the Deep South to the U.K. in its refrain…” (Rolling Stone Country) as musical cohorts Neil Mason (percussion) and Kelby Ray (lap steel) round out the rowdy vibe. All-star friends Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Eli Young Band’s Mike Eli lent their voices to the studio version, scoring the troupe an ACM Award nomination for Vocal Event of the Year.

TC3 poured their lives into “one of the most highly anticipated country albums of 2016” (The Boston Globe) with each member contributing songwriting credits to the 14 tracks. In addition to their own catalogue, TC3-penned hits have taken Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and more to the top of the charts, while also earning their gritty frontman a Grammy® Award nomination. A collection
Songs Jaren Wrote is available on Spotify.

Fans in the US have gotten a taste of "Johnston’s bourbon-baked snarl and metallic riffs smash into Mason’s thunderous drums and Caldwell’s lap steel, which he channels through bass and guitar rigs” (Nashville Scene) all summer with TC3 on the road throughout Florida Georgia Line’s DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR. Digital Journal insists, “They are one of the most underrated musicians in the country and southern rock genres.”

The Music City-born-and-bred collective has amassed a global following since being named the 2014 UK Classic Rock Roll of Honour: Best New Band, charting as the most played new band on Planet Rock in 2015 and selling out every show in the UK over the last two years. TC3 will return to Europe in November for their headline
Don’t Forget The Whiskey Tour. Daily Mirror considers the “Booze bolstered country rockers [are] in the vein of early Kings Of Leon.” Visit thecadillacthree.com for more details.

The musical co-conspirators have a unique sound that hovers between radio-ready Country anthems, hard-and-heavy Rock ballads and traditional Southern folk. They have garnered a global following and were named UK Classic Rock Roll of Honour: Best New Band in 2014. Rolling Stone asserts, "Like Kings of Leon before them, they're poised for their first big break in the U.K. — where they've sold out every headlining show for nearly two years — before conquering their U.S. home turf.” Pals since high school, TC3’s musical fusion organically builds around gritty vocals, electric guitars, thundering beats and a one-of-a-kind lap steel.

Earning ACM and Grammy nominations, Jaren’s songwriting sensibilities are highlighted with chart-topping hits for Jake Owen, Frankie Ballard and Keith Urban, in addition to singles for Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley. Listen to other
Songs Jaren Wrote. He has also been tapped as a producer on iconic Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler’s forthcoming solo project. Neil has contributed to recent songs recorded by Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, A Thousand Horses and more, while frequently collaborating with Jaren and Kelby for TC3’s catalogue.

Currently on the road in the US with Florida Georgia Line’s DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, TC3 will bring their sonic instincts back to Europe in November for their headline DON’T FORGET THE WHISKEY TOUR. Their raw sound has long since defined TC3’s rocking vivacity and universal appeal with Chicago Sun-Times surmising, “…the majority of today’s so called country rockers are simply trying to emulate what The Cadillac Three has been from their very beginning.”

Nashville, TN  – Fans, WSIX radio winners and industry alike funneled into the Adventure Science Center last night (6/16) for an electrifying introduction to THE CADILLAC THREE’S latest Big Machine Records single. The Music City born-and-bred trio offered a sneak peek of the “White Lightning” music video from inside the Planetarium. Watch now. Shot in Nashville and directed by David McClister, hit singer/songwriter Jaren Johnston helped conceptualize the setup from conversations about how he instantly fell in love with his wife Evyn and recreated the scenes around penning “White Lightning.”

Complete with a thunderstorm and flashes of lightning, TC3 also performed a short set for the packed crowd that shifted gears from their beat-laden party anthems to the unconventional love song. Johnston (Guitar & Lead Vocals), Kelby Ray (Bass Steel Guitar, Dobro, Acoustic & Vocals) and Neil Mason (Drums, Percussion & Vocals) have weathered wild adventures as a Country group with a rockin’ edge and epitomize their self-described “country fuzz” sound with singles like the ACM Vocal Event of the Year nominated “The South,” featuring Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli (Eli Young Band) and “Party Like You.” Before ending the evening with a live version of “White Lightning,” the Grammy-nominated frontman explained some of the unique metaphors for falling in love with “fast cars” and “the appeal of Elvis” growing up to “what love’s supposed to feel like.”

“I wouldn’t be here without love and without you, Evyn,” Jaren shared with the auditorium after the video premiered. “Thanks for inspiring some of my songs…the good ones!”

High-energy shows and gritty musical instincts earned TC3 a slot as one of Rolling Stone Country’s “10 New Artists You Need to Know” and more rave reviews continue to pour in:

Debut Single Features Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley & Eli Young Band’s Mike Eli

Dynamic Trio To Tour With Eric Church & Jake Owen

Nashville, TN (February 11, 2014) – Nashville natives Jaren Johnston (Guitar & Lead Vocals), Kelby Ray (Bass Steel Guitar, Dobro, Acoustic & Vocals) and Neil Mason (Drums, Percussion & Vocals) – The Cadillac Three – are quickly making some noise with the help of a few famous friends. The Music City born-and-bred boys boldly sing, “this is where I was born and this is where I’ll die,” in their gritty debut single “The South,” featuring Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli (Eli Young Band). Watch the music video here.

“I remembered the first time I heard 'Sweet Home Alabama,' and I was just mesmerized with it. I thought we needed something that would resonate with people the way 'Sweet Home Alabama' did for me as a kid,” said lead singer Jaren who penned “The South,” which sold over 10,000 downloads in the first week.

The high-energy trio is already building buzz with their unique musical tones, raw lyrics and eccentric styling. The Cadillac Three scored a spot on CMT’s ten new artists to discover list saying, “[the] shaggy-haired three-piece band have already made tons of friends in country music, as you can see in their video for their loud-and-proud single, ’The South.’" A recent Billboard.com profile gives more of an introduction to the talented trio and states, “there's an exciting new sound on the airwaves of country radio – The Cadillac Three.”

“We call our sound ‘country fuzz.’ It’s the best of both of those worlds – a little lap steel, some raunchy, Southern vocals and story songwriting with big drums. Really, a combination of what we all grew up listening to – Bocephus and Skynyrd – infused with some of what’s going on today – a little Eric [Church] and Dierks [Bentley]. Being born and raised here, we’re just excited to do something a little different for Nashville,” continued Jaren. He has also penned hits for Tim McGraw (“Southern Girl”), Keith Urban (“You Gonna Fly”) as well as several others for Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen and Dierks Bentley.

While spending time the last several months visiting radio stations across the country, The Cadillac Three is set to tour Europe with Eric Church this Spring and return stateside to join Jake Owen on his DAYS OF GOLD TOUR, beginning March 20. On April 4, they will perform in Las Vegas during the ACM PARTY FOR A CAUSE Festival alongside labelmates Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett, benefitting Outnumber Hunger to help secure meals at local food banks for the 1 in 6 Americans across the nation who struggle.

In addition to their live performances, The Cadillac Three marked their second appearance on ABC’s hit drama “NASHVILLE,” showcasing “The South” for Rayna James (Connie Britton).

NASHVILLE, TN February 19, 2013)—The Big Machine Label Group announced today the signing of The Cadillac Three to its Big Machine Records imprint. The Country group with a rockin' edge will join the label, which is home to superstars Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Tim McGraw.

The Cadillac Three, formerly known as The Cadillac Black, is a high-energy trio who describes their sound as “country fuzz.” Composed of three Nashville natives – Jaren Johnston (Guitar & Lead Vocals), Kelby Ray (Bass Steel Guitar, Dobro, Acoustic & Vocals) and Neil Mason (Drums, Percussion & Vocals) – all three guys weathered wild adventures and wrote numerous songs along the way.

Collectively, their experience as musicians stretches from having written hit songs to opening shows for acts like ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Church and Eli Young Band. Johnston is known for penning Keith Urban’s #1 smash “You Gonna Fly,” two new cuts on Tim McGraw’s latest record TWO LANES OF FREEDOM and several other tunes for acts like Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans and Dierks Bentley.

"We're excited to be a part of the Big Machine Label Group and to have found a team that supports the music we've been making and playing across the country. We think it is a match made in 'country fuzz heaven'  for three guys born and raised in Music City,” said The Cadillac Three.

“We are thrilled that The Cadillac Three will now call Big Machine their home,” said BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “Their songs are infectious. Their live show is captivating. We expect many great things to come for these guys.”

The band appeared on an episode of ABC’s hit drama “NASHVILLE” in late 2012 and their music has been featured on MTV's Buckwild, CW's Vampire Diaries and Heart Of Dixie, CBS' CSI Miami.

The Cadillac Three is expected to release new music later this year. Country radio will get a sneak peek next Thursday (2/28) when the band opens for Eli Young Band at Nashville hotspot, The Stage.
