GARY NUMAN IS SET TO RELEASE HIS NEW ALBUM SAVAGE (SONGS FROM A BROKEN WORLD) SEPTEMBER 15 VIA BMG

FIRST SINGLE "MY NAME IS RUIN"
OUT NOW! LISTEN HERE

New York, NY - July  2017 - Coming almost four years after his album Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind) earned the best reviews of his career and his highest chart-placing in 20 years, the iconic and highly influential Gary Numan will release his 22nd album Savage (Songs From A Broken World) on September 15. The announcement comes shortly after the British electro pioneer was awarded the Inspiration Award for songwriting and composition at the Ivor Novellos.

Savage (Songs From A Broken World) is an album with a narrative set in an apocalyptic, post-global warming Earth in the not-too-distant future. There is no technology left and most of the planet has turned to a desolate desert wasteland. Food is scarce, water even more so, and human kindness and decency are just a dim and distant memory. Western and Eastern cultures have merged, more because of the need to simply survive than any feelings of greater tolerance or understanding. It's a harsh, savage environment, as are the survivors who still roam across it.

While Numan was writing the record, Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. It made sense to make him and his climate decisions the catalyst for the apocalypse theme of the album.
"The songs are about the things that people do in such a harsh and terrifying environment," explains Numan. "It's about a desperate need to survive and they do awful things in order to do so, and some are haunted by what they've done. That desire to be forgiven, along with some discovered remnants of an old religious book, ultimately encourages religion to resurface, and it really goes downhill from there."
The album was produced by long-term collaborator Ade Fenton, with recording sessions split between Numan's own studio in LA, and in the UK. Numan and Fenton's creative connection goes back to 2006's Jagged. "Ade is not only extremely creative but ridiculously hard working, even in difficult circumstances," says Numan. "It's easy to discuss alternative ideas with him; he's not precious about things and is always looking to make the music better, even if that means, on very rare occasions, undoing his own work and starting again."
As the project took shape, Numan also set up a Pledge Music campaign to create an experience for fans that would let them see how an album is put together, from the first note to the finished shrink-wrapped package. It was a strategy that brought Numan closer to his fans, and allowed him to communicate the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into making a record.

The album has today been previewed with its first single "My Name Is Ruin," a menacing industrial march in which the unrelenting mechanized intensity is countered by the humanity of its sweet, swirling backing vocals that exude a palpable Egyptian influence. It's immediately captivating but brutally uncompromising: the sound of an artist eager to continue to push both himself and his audience almost four decades after presenting his initial sonic prototype.

The upcoming video for the track was directed by visual artist and musician Chris Corner of IAMX. Filmed in the desolate deserts of Southern California, it features a special guest in the shape of Numan's11-year-old daughter Persia, who also contributes vocals to the track. With the foreboding setting and temperatures reaching 118ºF during the shoot, the stunning location was the perfect backdrop for an album that examines a world struggling for survival after the devastation of global warming.
Savage (Songs From A Broken World) will be released on CD, deluxe CD, double vinyl, cassette, digital and MFiT formats. "My Name Is Ruin" is available today for download and streaming, and is available as an instant download with the full album iTunes pre-order.

MUSE REVEAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING LYRIC VIDEO FOR THEIR CURRENT SINGLE 'DIG DOWN'

A BRAND NEW VIDEO WILL BE REVEALED EVERY DAY FOR A MONTH

July  2017 - Muse have revealed a first in music video creation. Using the latest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, a new lyric video will be created every day for a month featuring high profile personalities voicing the lyrics to their current single, "Dig Down."

Created in consultation with tech development agency, Branger_Briz, the specially created software searches the Internet to find footage of celebrities, politicians and artists saying the lyrics to 'Dig Down'. These clips are then 'sewn' together using timing information from the original song to create the lyric video.

Click below to see today's video and the subsequent updated versions:

Branger Briz said:

"AI is so often deployed in a very invisible way, so it was exciting to collaborate on a project with the band that brings it to the fore. We think it's important to have public discourse about the promise and perils of these emerging and incredibly influential technologies and it's great to work with Muse to instigate those conversations."

Earlier this week, Muse announced an intimate live show at The O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on Saturday August 19 in aid of The Passage, London's largest voluntary sector resource centre for homeless and vulnerable people.

Billed as a 'By Request' show, ticket holders can choose their Top 10 Muse tracks and all votes submitted will be collated and used to curate the set on the night.

Tickets for the show at The O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire will go on sale tomorrow at 9am local time, with all profits going to The Passage.

This August will see Muse headline Reading & Leeds for the third time in their career; the last time they topped the bill was in 2011.

SAM MOORE RELEASING NEW ALBUM AN AMERICAN PATRIOT THIS FALL

Sam Moore: An American Patriot

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, the legendary GRAMMY-winning ‘Soul Man’, Sam Moore will release a new album titled An American Patriot later this year. The album will pay tribute to those who have served our country. On An American Patriot, Moore delivers inspiring renditions of iconic classics including Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.”

Most recently, Moore performed during the "'Make America Great Again!' Welcome Celebration" on January 19th to celebrate the newly elected President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump and appeared this past week during the Opening Ceremony of the DoD Warrior Games in Chicago and A Capitol Fourth with The Blues Brothers.

Moore catapulted to international fame as the lead voice of the 1960s duo “Sam & Dave,” a musical collaboration with long-time partner and fellow Georgia native Dave Prater. As Sam & Dave, the duo recorded and performed together for 20 years and produced a string of hit albums. But it was a tune written, arranged, and produced by Isaac Hayes that cemented Moore’s place in music history. In 1967, 50 years ago this year, Hayes wrote “Soul Man,” which Sam & Dave would record later that year. The song became responsible for a resurgence in Moore’s popularity, when Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi assumed the characters of Elwood and Jake Blues, hopped into the Bluesmobile, and took up a career singing the blues as The Blues Brothers. The song the brothers chose as their signature: “Soul Man.”

After a storied career with Prater, Moore has spent the past 35 years enjoying a long solo career, recording with some of the biggest names in numerous genres of music, including Conway Twitty, with whom he recorded the hit song “Rainy Night in Georgia.” In 1992, Moore was inducted, along with the deceased Prater, into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, arguably music’s highest honor, capping a career that included a Grammy, honors from the Vocal Music Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame, and the Rhythm and Blues Foundation. Sam was the recipient of the first ever MOBO Living Legends Honor, and he received the NARAS Hero Award in 2003 and an AFTRA AMEE Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

For more information about Moore, or for up-to-date appearance schedules, follow on Facebook and Twitter.

An American Patriot Track List:
1. America the Beautiful
2. The Battle Hymn of the Republic
3. Show For You (2017 Warrior Games Anthem Long Version)
4. God Bless the U.S.A.
5. The Star Spangled Banner
6. Imagine
7. Peace Please
8. God Bless America
9. Land of the Free
10. What’s Going On
11. Lift Every Voice

ABOUT SAM MOORE:
Sam Moore found musical fame as one half of the '60s powerhouse duo Sam & Dave. With 1967’s hit “Soul Man,” the duo found lasting fame, defined a genre, and altered the course of music history. Their signature sound influenced a diverse array of musical talents, including Al Green, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Tom Petty, Phil Collins, Elvis Costello, Billy Joel and so many others. Sam & Dave’s music and personas inspired the film The Blues Brothers, and other hits like “Hold On I’m Coming” have appeared on the soundtracks of more than a dozen films. Moore, 81, continues to record and perform to critical acclaim as a solo artist and as a guest performer for dozens of his musical friends.

NEW YORK, NY (Thursday, July 6th, 2017) – Having played to more than one million fans, the first North American leg of U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 came to a triumphant close July 1st at the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland. With ticket sales surpassing 2.4 million across North and South America, the UK and Europe, and Mexico, The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 has reaffirmed its standing as the most commercially and critically successful tour of the year.

The Joshua Tree Tour 2017, produced by Live Nation Global Touring, opened May 12th at BC Place in Vancouver and made its U.S. debut May 14th at CenturyLink Field in Seattle—the latter kicking off some of the most enthusiastic critical notes in the history of U2’s relationship with America. Rolling Stone hailed the band as "a live act simply without peer,” USA Today noted "Thirty years can't dull searing music, hopeful lyrics or the captivating Irish band behind them,” while The New York Times added "For the performance of The Joshua Tree... the band members took places on the full-sized stadium stage. They were ascending the way their career did… The band was dwarfed, but the music wasn’t. Larry Mullen Jr. on drums, Adam Clayton on bass and the Edge on guitar tore into the urgent rhythmic flux of 'Where the Streets Have No Name.' Against the craggy postpunk groove of 'Bullet the Blue Sky,' both Bono’s falsetto and the Edge’s guitar leads were keening sirens.”

The reviews of The Joshua Tree Tour 2017’s opening weekend set a tone that intensified throughout a North American run featuring 20 sold out stadium dates and U2’s first ever U.S. festival headline June 9th at Bonnaroo. Reviews for the shows have been consistently excellent, with some more recent highlights including:

“The thing about U2 is that, in almost any of their forms these past four decades, they always offer some degree of transcendence. They can’t help it... This is also what makes them what they are — legends, an institution, well beyond the levels of even some of our biggest stars today... These are songs that reminded you how many different kinds of people across countries and generations one artist, one voice can impact — and, in turn, they are songs that remind you that fighting for a better world, even when it zigs and zags over thirty years, might just be worth it.”—STEREOGUM

“U2’s Two-Hour Pep Talk is Exactly What We Need Right Now… The best U2 songs cast life as a garden of possibilities while pushing back at forces that seek to limit them. This Joshua Tree tour wisely plays just those songs. It is a two-hour pep talk. It is a technological spectacle. It is a warm bath for the soul. It will knock you on your ass.”—VULTURE

"I have left every U2 concert feeling like some measure of my humanity had been restored after being worn down by the blistering winds of the daily shit storm we call living. Last night was no exception.”—PHAWKER

"An uplifting return to Joshua Tree — and much more… Sunday’s sold-out concert at Gillette Stadium commemorated the album’s 30th anniversary by playing it in full, and it served as both a reminder of and reckoning with the power that fell into U2’s grasp at that moment in its history.”—BOSTON GLOBE

U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 heads to the UK and Europe where it kicks off with two nights in London on July 8th & 9th followed by concerts in Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels. It will then relaunch in North America September 3rd with a return to Detroit – the city where U2 played its first ever headline stadium show back on April 30th, 1987 at the Silverdome on the original Joshua Tree Tour.  The tour’s limited return to North America will include stops in Buffalo, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, New Orleans, St. Louis, Phoenix and San Diego. The tour will then head to Mexico City followed by concerts in Bogota, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Sao Paulo.

Beck will be special guest for the upcoming North American dates. In Mexico and South America, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have been confirmed as special guest.

U2 The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 is produced by Live Nation Global Touring. UPS is the Official Logistics Provider of the tour.

The Tour stops at The Dome at America's Center on September 16, with special guest Beck.
Tickets are available at www.livenation.com

FULFILLING THEIR LEGACY … THE CADILLAC THREE RELEASE TITLE TRACK TODAY

New Album Drops August 25

Watch Behind-The-Scenes and Across-The-Years Footage:
http://bit.ly/2tasX1V

Pictured (L-R): Neil Mason, Jaren Johnston and Kelby Ray

NASHVILLE, TN (July 7, 2017) – From adolescent basement sessions to walking down the aisle, Music City born-and-bred trio THE CADILLAC THREE were destined to leave a mark. The title track from their forthcoming album offers a rare sonic twist for the notoriously full-amped musicians and is out today in advance of LEGACY, out August 25 on Big Machine Records. American Songwriter premiered the title track, noting that the musical co-conspirators "exploring deeper themes and experimenting with new sounds." Watch the reflective behind-the-scenes footage from the studio to generations of family here: http://bit.ly/2tasX1V.

A natural progression for the band who has been creating music together since high school, “Legacy” offers a deep understanding of what is truly important – relationships. GRAMMY®-nominated, chart-topping songwriter and frontman Jaren Johnston penned the track alongside Ben Burgess and Laura Veltz delicately crafting lyrics like:

When I’m gone, my name carved in stone
Over husband, friend, and father
Survived by son, wife, and daughter
It won’t be songs that keep me livin’ on
Girl, as hall of fame as I wanna be
It’s a lot of love and a little family tree
Hell, that’s a legacy

"’Legacy’ is a song I am super proud of! In the past, I’ve given away songs of this caliber because I didn't feel our band was ready to take on that role … or maybe I wasn't ready to sing those types of lyrics, shared Jaren with American Songwriter. “I think our band is ready, and I am there now. This is the perfect song for where we all are in our lives.”

Another part of TC3’s past and future is their hometown heritage. On August 31, they will take the stage for their first-ever headline show at the historic Ryman Auditorium. “You grow up seeing your favorite bands with your buddies, date nights with your love and special shows with your family here,” explains Neil. “The Ryman is an institution, and we’re really excited – and honored – to share the night with so many people who’ve been a part of our journey. It’s always a crazy ride with The Cadillac Three!”

They’ll headline clubs and join festival lineups throughout the summer, blending “twang and classic lyrics about tailgating and whisky with the power chords of a metal group, proving how vast country and western music has become” (Winnipeg Free Press).

More fans across the globe will have a chance to see “Legacy” come to life when TC3 returns to Europe for their fall headline LONG HAIR DON’T CARE TOUR with special guests Brothers Osborne and Broken Witt Rebels. “We all may be from different parts of the world but it’s really cool to have the spirit of a song bring us together!” said Kelby. “We’re really looking forward to introducing some new tunes.” Already A listed at Planet Rock in the UK, lead single “Dang If We Didn’t” officially impacts Country radio in the US on July 10. Los Angeles, CA - Record producer, DJ and music executive Steve Aoki launches his new track “LIT” with Yellow Claw featuring T-Pain and Gucci Mane. T-Pain invokes Queen’s “We Are the Champions” on the chorus for “LIT,” laid down in Aoki’s Las Vegas studio with Yellow Claw and shipped off to Gucci Mane to round it out with a verse.

“The third installment in the first Kolony album is ‘Lit’ with Yellow Claw, Gucci Mane and T-Pain. A head banger for sure guaranteed to get you LIT!” – Steve Aoki

“LIT” comes off the announcement of Steve Aoki Presents KOLONY, due for release July 21 via Dim Mak Records / Ultra Records, his first full turn into rap music. With nearly 10 years of hip-hop collaborations, Aoki describes it as “bridging the gap” between genres and is stacked with hard-hitting rhymes from some of the most prominent lyricists today, including Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Migos, 2 Chainz, ILOVEMAKONNEN, Wale, and more.

"Steve Aoki has a remarkable ability of blending new sounds together."
 XXL MAGAZINE

KOLONY’s release comes off of the back of his pop driven single last December, Aoki's uplifting collab with One Direction member Louis Tomlinson “Just Hold On”, which debuted at #1 in 43 countries and has since achieved Gold or Platinum status in 18 countries. Aoki also earned his second Grammy nomination this past year for the Best Music Film category for his Netflix original documentary I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, which chronicles his fast-paced life as a DJ/producer by offering a firsthand look into his world. The film debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival last spring to a sold-out audience.

Aoki recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of his legendary imprint Dim Mak, his independent label founded in 1996 encompassing everything from edgy rock to trendsetting electro, celebrating at major festivals around the world and with the release of a special edition compilation album.

Yellow Claw is an EDM DJ/producer duo from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Their music is a mix of wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton. Earlier this month, Yellow Claw released their latest album “Los Amsterdam”, that showcases a variety pack of EDM bangers, including their lead single “Home (featuring Sophie Simmons)”.

A hip-hop legend, Gucci Mane founded 1017 Records in 2007 after his departure from Mizay Entertainment and the closing of So Icey. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre trap music, alongside fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy. Gucci Mane’s latest hit release “Tone It Down” featuring Chris Brown dropped June 20.

T-Pain is the founder of the record label imprint Nappy Boy Entertainment, established in 2005. Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain is best known for using and popularizing the creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, used with extreme parameter settings to create distinctive vocal sounds. From 2006 to 2010, T-Pain was featured on more than 50 chart topping singles, his most successful feature to date was on Flo Rida's debut single "Low", which has since been certified 6x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

FREDDIE NELSON
CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED
DEBUT SOLO ALBUM, ‘SHAKE THE CAGE,’
OUT TODAY

July 7, 2017 – Guitarist/singer/songwriter FREDDIE NELSON has just released his self-produced debut solo album, SHAKE THE CAGE, a collection of eleven hook driven rock songs displaying NELSON’s impressive four octave vocal range and notoriously ferocious guitar playing. Intertwining elements of punk, pop, and blues, he has the uncanny ability to weave memorable melodies alongside intelligent lyrics to create a body of work that appeals to the masses. Also released today is a lyric video for the album’s latest single, “Light,” which can be seen on his official YouTube page.

SHAKE THE CAGE can now be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, and all other digital retail outlets. A limited number of CDs are available exclusively on FreddieNelson.com

As CraveOnline.com raved: “The album is full of super catchy guitar riffs and fantastic melodies equipped for mainstream rock, but they  also still have enough edge and creativity to appeal to rock n’ roll purists. The first single on the record is ‘Hey Doll,’ a contemporary Queen-like track that really showcases NELSON’s songwriting creativity and guitar chops...SHAKE THE CAGE is creative and new yet a blast from the past; it’s top-notch rock n’ roll guitar with a dash of pop, a sprinkle of punk and a dollop of blues; there’s no strict formula to the songs; and there’s more hooks than a world class bass fishing tournament...It’s simply a must listen to any fans of not just Queen, but Muse, My Chemical Romance, The Killers or The Beatles.”

FREDDIE NELSON first came to international attention in 2010 when he collaborated with guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big) on their album, UNITED STATES. Together they wrote, performed, and produced the recording that was released on Mascot Records and toured Japan and Europe shortly after.

“The record is called SHAKE THE CAGE, because I feel that a lot of music has become one dimensional with tools such as pitch correction and formulated songwriting.  There is no substitute for hard work and honing your craft, and it’s time to challenge mediocrity,” NELSON says.

With unprecedented attention to detail, SHAKE THE CAGE is truly a solo effort. All of the writing and producing was done by Nelson as well as all of the musical and vocal performances, with the exception of drums performed by the legendary Thomas Lang (who has played with Peter Gabriel, Kelly Clarkson, John Wetton and countless others). It was mixed by Rob Hill of X Music Studios in Los Angeles, CA and was mastered by Maz Murad at Metropolis in London, England.

DARIUS RUCKER: 2 CAREERS, MULTIPLE GRAMMY WINS + 8 #1’S AND STILL EXPERIENCING THINGS
“FOR THE FIRST TIME”

Second single, “For The First Time,” from forthcoming 2017 album impacts Country radio July 24 on heels of eighth summit to top of charts

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –  When his voice first graced radio airwaves it led to GQ Magazine naming him one of their Men of the Year noting “we catch ourselves humming his melodies on the subway … only then do we realize that his name … is no longer just a proper noun. It’s a symbol now.” With such an illustrious, groundbreaking and symbolic career, Darius Rucker is constantly reinventing and striving for ways fans can have new experiences at his shows, however in doing so it had a surprising outcome that left him asking, “when was the last time I did something for the first time?” That simple question led to his latest release, a song he wrote with Derek George and Travis Hill, “For The First Time,” available today and impacting Country radio on Monday, July 24.

“As a songwriter, sometimes the smallest idea can elicit a feeling and then you have this daunting task of trying to relay that emotion and energy into a three-minute song,” shares the man the Associated Press says “shows he can leave a distinctive mark on 21st-century country music.” “When we wrote ‘For The First Time,’ we each had to dig deep for that moment – for me it was ‘you say you’ve never danced to a dashboard singin’ REM under summer stars.’ After that it was all over.”

“For The First Time” is the follow-up to his most recent No. 1 single, “If I Told You,” the first off his long-awaited as-yet-untitled fifth Capitol Records Nashville album, slated for release later this year with Producer Ross Copperman at the helm. It will be yet another signature moment in the multiplatinum career of one of music’s most beloved figures. Rucker has never been busier while working on his new album with a slate of television appearances this spring and summer including a CMT Crossroads episode with John Mellencamp, an appearance in Adam Sandler’s Netflix original, Sandy Wexler, and his own episode of Celebrity Undercover Boss on CBS.

For more information about new music, appearances and tour dates, please visit www.dariusrucker.com.

About Darius Rucker
Rucker first attained multi-Platinum status in the music industry as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of GRAMMY award-winning Hootie & the Blowfish. Since re-introducing himself to the world as a country artist, he has released four consecutive albums to top the Billboard Country albums chart and earned a whole new legion of fans. In 2014, Rucker won his third career GRAMMY award for Best Solo Country Performance for his 4x Platinum selling cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel,” off his album, True Believers. Rucker’s first two country albums, Learn To Live and Charleston, SC 1966 produced five No. 1 singles including “Come Back Song,” “This,” “Alright,” “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” and “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It.” Southern Style, his fourth studio country album, features his seventh No. 1 single “Homegrown Honey,” co-written by Rucker, label mate Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum and Nathan Chapman. Rucker’s last single, “If I Told You,” is his eighth No. 1 on country radio and the first cut from his forthcoming fifth album for Capitol Nashville.
