LINKÖPING, SWEDEN - JUNE 11, 2018 - Grammy® Award-winning band Ghost's critically acclaimed fourth sacred psalm Prequelle has debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, #2 Top Current Album, #1 Rock, and #2 Vinyl, with 65,653 albums sold.
Prequelle
also debuted at #1 in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, #1 at Rock in the
UK, and in the Top 10 overall in the UK, Germany (#2), France (#4),
Australia, and Mexico. This follows over 25,000 album pre-orders (the
highest in their career), over 5 Million pre-release streams of first
single "Rats", and the announcement of their first ever headline arena
dates. "Rats" is currently #4 at Active Rock Radio, and was the #1
National Rock Song of the Week (Music Choice).

Ghost today announced a massive North American fall tour including
their previously announced headline arena dates at The Forum in Los
Angeles, CA and Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY that will kick off on
November 1 in Chicago, IL and wrap on December 15 in Brooklyn, NY.

10:00am local time and general tickets will be available to the public

On June 14, Ghost will join legendary metal band Candlemass to honor
Metallica by performing one of their songs as members Lars Ulrich and
Robert Trujillo are presented with the Polar Music Prize by the King of
Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf.
Ghost announced Prequelle (pronounced prē-KWELL) alongside the album's lead single "Rats"
on April 13, 2018 and introduced fans to the band's new singer Cardinal

with the first-ever Instagram Stories song premiere. With over 5
million streams in three weeks, the track is the band's fastest

entire body of work is also a snapshot of the world in which we live in

a collection of eleven hook driven rock songs displaying NELSON’s
impressive four octave vocal range and notoriously ferocious guitar
playing. Intertwining elements of punk, pop, and blues, he has the
uncanny ability to weave memorable melodies alongside intelligent lyrics

FREDDIE
NELSON first came to international attention in 2010 when he
collaborated with guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big) on their album,
UNITED STATES. Together they wrote, performed, and produced the
recording that was released on Mascot Records and toured Japan and
Europe shortly after.
“The record is called SHAKE THE CAGE,
because I feel that a lot of music has become one dimensional with
tools such as pitch correction and formulated songwriting. There is no
substitute for hard work and honing your craft, and it’s time to
challenge mediocrity,” NELSON says.
With unprecedented attention to detail, SHAKE THE CAGE
is truly a solo effort. All of the writing and producing was done by
Nelson as well as all of the musical and vocal performances, with the
exception of drums performed by the legendary Thomas Lang (who has
played with Peter Gabriel, Kelly Clarkson, John Wetton and countless
others). It was mixed by Rob Hill of X Music Studios in Los Angeles, CA
and was mastered by Maz Murad at Metropolis in London, England.

THE WINERY DOGS’ SELF-TITLED ALBUM
DEBUTS AT #5 ON BILLBOARD’S “TOP ROCK ALBUMS” CHART AND
#27 ON BILLBOARD'S “TOP 200 ALBUMS” CHART
July 31, 2013 –THE WINERY DOGS (@TheWineryDogs) is sending a huge thank you to their loyal fans in North America for giving their critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album a strong debut on the Billboard charts. Not only did it explode onto the “Top Rock Chart” at #5, it also opens on the “Top 200 Albums” chart at #27.
The power trio--Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) and Richie Kotzen (Mr. Big, Poison)—self-produced THE WINERY DOGS, which was released July 23 on Loud & Proud Records. The album has been hailed as “...one of the most intriguing releases of the year” by Loudwire.com, and in a recent reader’s poll on Revolver magazine’s website, fans called it their “Album of the Week.”
Success hasn’t been limited to the U.S. shores. THE WINERY DOGS recently kicked off their first-ever tour in Japan and South America to sold-out crowds wherever they played. After one more stop in Buenos Aires on August 1, they’ll head home for their first U.S. shows, starting August 3 in New York City at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.
