Nashville, TN ( – Taking a stand and making a mark with “Girl In A Country Song,” newcomers Maddie & Tae
have announced plans to release their self-titled EP across all digital
retailers on November 4. The Top 20-and-climbing single, which claimed
the #1 Country spot on Shazam for the last two weeks, is the first
release from Dot Records, a newly established imprint underneath the Big
Machine Label Group.
Last Friday (9/12) Maddie & Tae made a bold introduction to late night audiences, performing their unabashed debut and announcing the EP on CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman. Watch here.
The talented pair, who TODAY host Hoda Kotb touted as the “darlings of Nashville,” have been commended for delivering a new perspective to Country airwaves with heir breakout hit, whose music video boasts over 7.1 million views. Rolling Stone asserts, “no country single has been a hotter topic this year” while Buzzfeed insists, “you can do anything you want, ladies."
