GHOST BROTHERS OF DARKLAND COUNTY
PRESENTED BY STEPHEN KING, JOHN MELLENCAMP,
AND T BONE BURNETT

MAJOR CAST ANNOUNCEMENT:
BILLY BURKE AND GINA GERSHON LEAD TOURING CAST

(September 30, 2014) – The full cast for the southern gothic, supernatural musical Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, was announced today, with actor/writer/producer Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga) and actress/writer/singer Gina Gershon (Killer Joe, House of Versace, Boeing, Boeing) playing the lead roles of Joe McCandless and Monique McCandless respectively. Touring across North America this Fall, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County was written by best-selling author Stephen King, with music by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, and musical direction by Grammy Award-winning T Bone Burnett. The tour kicks off right outside Bangor, ME at the Collins Center For The Arts in Orono, ME, on November 8, before travelling through cities such as Toronto, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Due to overwhelming demand a second show has been added in San Francisco on December 6th which is now the final date of the tour.
Ghost Brothers of Darkland County is a collaboration 16 years in the making, and blend of unique musical and staging styles. Throughout the production, the eerie blues ‘n’ roots music reveals the inner workings of the characters as opposed to just propelling the play’s narrative, with only a few songs directly advancing the plot. The haunting tale of fraternal love, lust, jealousy and revenge, begins with Joe McCandless reflecting on a past tragedy involving his two older brothers battling over a girl which ended in the unfortunate deaths of all three. Now with Joe as an adult and two boys of his own, he’s watching an all too familiar scenario play out before his eyes. With his sons at each other’s throats, Joe’s story will either save or destroy the McCandless family.

SICK OF IT ALL have released a Track-by-Track video description of each song on the new album!  Check out Craig and Armand break down all the lyrics and music to LAST ACT OF DEFIANCE which hit stores Today.

The recently released a teaser track, "Get Bronx" and can be heard here
The band had this to say about "Get Bronx."

"GET BRONX is a term we came up with and use amongst a group of our friends in the NYHC scene. It is used to describe the point that is passed push coming to shove, when you go all out. Musically the song is a hybrid throwback fusing some early punk type chord changes with a late 80's NYHC style groove. The ending clearly Black Sabbath influenced and well... Geezer rules!"

Jeff is an incredible musician and singer who has spent the last decade playing in DUFF McKAGEN's LOADED and is also the lead singer and guitar player in THE GUESSING GAME. After former bassist Paul DiLeo amicably and mutually parted ways with FOZZY last May, Jeff stepped in and immediately injected his amazing musicianship and electrifying stage presence into FOZZY'S already critically acclaimed live show.

"I'm stoked to have been asked to join FOZZY and to hit the road to support 'Do You Wanna Start A War!' Can't wait to see everyone out there!" Rouse said.

FOZZY guitarist and main songwriter Rich Ward comments, "The first time I saw Jeff play with DUFF McKAGAN'S LOADED, it was immediately apparent that I was watching a special talent. He's a pocket player with killer tone and amazing stage presence. One of the few total package musicians that I have ever known and it's an honor to call him a bandmate and more importantly, my brother."

Rock Legend And Media Mogul Gene Simmons Sits Down With Dan Rather For A Candid And Heartfelt Edition Of 'THE BIG INTERVIEW' Tomorrow Night, Tuesday, Sept. 30 At 8pE

The ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAMER Openly Discusses an Eclectic Array of Topics Such As His Views on Life, Love, America, the State of Music, the Magic of KISS, and More

Two legends go head-to-head on AXS TV, as celebrated musician, author, entrepreneur and Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gene Simmons sits down for an in-depth discussion with award-winning newsman Dan Rather for a special edition of THE BIG INTERVIEW tomorrow night - Tuesday, September 30, at 8pE/5pP.

Rather pulls no punches during the hour-long episode as he takes viewers on a journey into the unprecedented life and career of the outspoken musician and business man, from his life and loves, to his views on the music industry and his passion for America. In an emotional account of his childhood, Simmons reflects on his youth in Israel, surrounded by war and poverty, with no electricity and lacking amenities like toothpaste. Opening up about his mother's time in the concentration camps of Nazi Germany, Simmons reveals the profound impact that she had on his life, and the powerful experience of watching her be sworn in as an American citizen when he was eight-and-a-half years old.
Simmons is in rare form throughout, allowing Rather to get surprisingly personal, and eliciting a side of the superstar that isn't often seen on stage or television. From his father abandoning the family when Simmons was just seven years old, inspiring his decades-long fear of commitment and reluctance to have children; to his high-profile liaisons with Cher and Diana Ross; as well as his marriage to Shannon Tweed, the issues they've overcome, and the decision to open up his life, home, and children to the world on the hit reality show GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS which airs on AXS TV. No stone is left unturned.
While Simmons may have finally settled down as a family man, his career, both as an entrepreneur and a founding member of KISS, has, arguably, never been hotter. With the band's blockbuster 40th anniversary tour well underway, Simmons delves into the origins of KISS, their refusal to play the pop music game, and their commitment to being completely authentic and original as they smashed through the '70s folk scene and changed the face of the industry forever. For him, the rock is his religion, the stage is his church, and the show is two hours of pure magic fueled by sweat, fire, and fake blood.
It's this same drive, what Simmons describes as "the working man's ethic," that has helped him build a multi-million dollar empire that includes a record company, restaurant chain, race horse operations and an Arena Football team, and earned him a lifetime achievement award from Forbes Magazine in 2012. The best-selling author's newest book, ME, INC., designed to help people unleash their inner rock god in both life and business, is due out later this fall. A promo clip is available at http://bit.ly/1pwUcas.
"Gene Simmons has never been shy about delivering the straight truth as he sees it, and this episode of THE BIG INTERVIEW is no exception," said Michele M. Dix, AXS TV's senior vice president, programming and development. "But what sets this particular segment apart is Dan Rather's unique ability to dive head-first into his subject, setting the rock star bravado aside and cutting to the core of the man underneath the makeup and the carefully cultivated 'Demon' persona."

Nashville, TN (September 29, 2014) – Trading in her once-signature flouncy skirts for a sleek black dress, RaeLynn made her Grand Ole Opry debut over the weekend. On Friday night (9/26), the rising young entertainer showcased sophistication in more than just her style. The “God Made Girls” crooner enchanted the crowd with her debut single and performed two other songs, “Young” and “Love Triangle,” all three of which she co-wrote in Nashville.

RaeLynn humbly took the stage surrounded by a wealth of support from family, friends and her record label, The Valory Music Co. There were plenty of familiar faces in the crowd – 50 friends and family members traveled from Baytown, TX to watch RaeLynn make her debut. The 20-year-old songstress’ vocal prowess is both “conservative” and “empowering” according to Buzzfeed. It is no wonder that her debut single has been noted as the highest charting song on Mediabase by a new solo female artist this year. Pausing her set after the first song, RaeLynn commemorated the night in her own way, snapping an onstage “#OpRaeDebut” selfie with the crowd.

“I’m so excited to be able to share such a special moment in my career with my family, fans and amazing team. They all mean so much to me and I wouldn’t be here without them. Being invited to sing at the Grand Ole Opry is an absolute dream come true,” beamed RaeLynn. “Standing in the same hallowed circle as my heroes and looking out into that crowd performing my own music is a moment I will never forget. Someone pinch me please!”

Always finding new ways to connect with her fans, RaeLynn partnered with the Opry to offer a select group tickets and passes to spend time with her during the monumental evening. The Grand Prize winner won an invitation to watch RaeLynn’s soundcheck and hangout backstage in her dressing room before she took the stage. The winner also received a gift certificate to Ani & Ari, the boutique that styles RaeLynn. During intermission, the spunky vocalist treated ten fans to a meet & greet, signing autographs and snapping pictures to immortalize the milestone occasion.
