The Marshall Mathers Foundation And Carhartt Partner To Offer Charity Hoodie Foundation to receive 100% of the proceeds from limited edition Carhartt sweatshirt

The Marshall Mathers Foundation, which provides funds for organizations working with at-risk youth in Michigan and throughout the U.S, partnered with Carhartt, America's premium work wear brand since 1889, to design a limited edition Carhartt Force ® zip-front hoodie with all proceeds benefitting the Foundation. The hoodie is available for purchase at www.eminem.com.
"This collaboration is all about two Detroit icons working together to support kids in Detroit, the state of Michigan and beyond," said Tony Ambroza, senior vice president of marketing for Carhartt. "We have been a part of the Detroit area for 125 years and are proud to partner with organizations like The Marshall Mathers Foundation that shine a positive light on the city."
The limited edition, heather gray zip –front hoodie is lightweight and made of a 65% cotton/35% polyester blend. It has a screen-printed Eminem logo on the left chest and the back is printed with an anvil graphic with a "313" at its center. It's encircled by the words "Detroit, Michigan. 1889. 1999."
"We chose this particular sweatshirt because it is similar to a Carhartt hoodie that Marshall often wears on-stage," Ambroza said. "Since it's part of our Force® line of knits, the hoodie includes our FastDry® technology to wick away sweat and our StainBreaker™ technology to release stains; plus it's a relaxed fit, which is always popular with customers."

Eminem To Executive Produce Skylar Grey's Highly Anticipated Debut Album "Don't Look Down" - New Single "C'mon Let Me Ride" Featuring Eminem To Be Released December 11

Debut Album DON'T LOOK DOWN Due Spring 2013 from KIDinaKORNER/Interscope

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- 13-time GRAMMY winning producer, songwriter and rapper Eminem has signed on as executive producer of the hotly anticipated debut album from five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer songwriter Skylar Grey , it was announced today. The first single, "C'mon Let Me Ride" featuring Eminem, which is produced by Alex Da Kid and mixed by both Eminem and Alex, will be released to all digital retailers on December 11 . Grey's debut album, now titled Don't Look Down , is due out Spring 2013 from KIDinaKORNER /Interscope
"When I was working on Recovery I was introduced to Skylar by Alex Da Kid and I was blown away with her talent as both a songwriter and vocalist," said Eminem. "This album is really going to give her a chance to connect with the fans who probably know her music, but might not know her yet.  I think they will be as impressed as I am."
"Putting out a debut album is a bit scary – I want it to be just right so I took some extra time to finish it. Eminem's increased involvement has been such a blessing; I'm getting guidance from an artist I really admire and trust," said Grey. "Having written many new songs, the album has become a completely different animal, hence the title change. This new single with Em, in particular, is very exciting. We have worked on so many serious songs together – it's a nice change of pace to do something fun and sarcastic."
"Skylar is one of the first artists that I worked with in a meaningful way. I was immediately impressed with her vision, fearlessness, artistic talent and overall musicianship. I was determined to make her the first artist signed to KIDinaKORNER. KIDinaKORNER was founded on the principals of signing innovative artists that have the ability to blur our perceptions of genres. To me, Skylar Grey represents the embodiment of this principal," said Alex.
The music video for "C'mon Let Me Ride" featuring Eminem was shot in Detroit last week and will also be released with the single on December 11. Currently, Grey can be heard on two tracks on Slaughterhouse's Welcome to Our House on Shady Records/Interscope  –  the title track "Our House," which also features Eminem, and "Rescue Me" – and on the song "Building a Monster" on the soundtrack for the new Tim Burton animated film Frankenweenie.
Grey is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is responsible for co-writing some of the most memorable songs to light up the Billboard Hot 100 and iTunes sales charts, totaling more than 25 million singles globally.  Grey co-wrote the biggest selling single of 2010: Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie," which earned her two GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Song and Best Rap Song of the Year. She also co-wrote and appeared on Dr. Dre's "I Need A Doctor," which she performed alongside Dre and Eminem on the 2011 GRAMMY Awards telecast and for which she was nominated for two GRAMMY Awards. This past January, Grey released The Buried Sessions of Skylar Grey , which featured special acoustic performances by Grey of three songs she wrote and produced:  the original demo of "Love the Way Part III" (the original "Love the way You Lie" made popular by Eminem and Rihanna), "Coming Home Part II" (originally performed by Diddy-Dirty Money) and "Words" (originally "Words I Never Said," performed by Lupe Fiasco).

Eminem Sets New Record With One Million in Digital Albums Sales of His 2010 Album Recovery

CHART-TOPPING, GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING RECOVERY IS FIRST ALBUM TO EVER SELL ONE MILLION DIGITAL COPIES

SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 5, 2011- Multi-platinum hip-hop artist Eminem has become the first artist ever to sell one million digital copies in the U.S. of an album as his 2010 release — the chart-topping, Grammy Award-winning Recovery — surges past the one million mark this week.
This record-setting career milestone comes just one week after the superstar artist landed at No. 1 with  Hell: The Sequel , the release from Bad Meets Evil, Eminem's collaboration with fellow Detroit native Royce Da 5'9. This marks the first time in the last five years an artist has scored two No. 1 albums within a 12-month period.
"Recovery selling one million digital albums is an incredible achievement by an incredible artist," says Interscope Records' Vice Chairman Steve Berman. "I have had the pleasure of working with Eminem throughout the course of his career, and I'm delighted to be a part of yet another milestone on his amazing journey."
"We are thrilled to congratulate Eminem on the history-making digital sales success of Recovery," says Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg.  "Over the years we've made a concerted effort to engage Em's online fan base so this achievement is especially rewarding. Eminem made an amazing album with Recovery and the fans responded in record numbers."
Recovery debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart (Eminem's sixth album to do so), as well on as the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Albums charts, marking the beginning of a triumphant comeback for the artist. The best-selling album of 2010 in the U.S. and the best-selling digital album of all-time, Recovery has now sold more than 5.7 million copies worldwide, propelled by its No. 1 singles "Not Afraid" (which earned Eminem a Grammy Award for "Best Rap Solo Performance" and two MTV Video Music Awards, and has sold more than 3.4 million downloads in the U.S.) and "Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, which spent seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has sold more than five million downloads in the U.S. and 9.3 million downloads worldwide. "Love The Way You Lie" earned five Grammy Award nominations, including "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year," and won Billboard Music, Soul Train, and People's Choice awards.
In other Eminem news, Bad Meets Evil has released a new single from Hell: The Sequel, "Lighters," featuring Bruno Mars, which follows on the debut single "Fast Lane." The video for "Fast Lane" has racked up more than 8.2 million views on VEVO. Watch it here:  http://www.vevo.com/watch/bad-meets-evil/fast-lane/USUV71100957

He will continue his series of explosive live shows in August, including headlining slots at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 6th and the V Festival in the U.K. on August 20th and 21st.
