THE OAK RIDGE BOYS TO PERFORM ON ‘HUCKABEE’ THIS WEEKEND ON TBN IN ADVANCE OF THE RELEASE OF THEIR NEW ALBUM, 17th AVENUE REVIVAL

Left to right: William Lee Golden, Duane Allen, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Joe Bonsall, Richard Sterban
"Before Russia was a topic in our daily news, The Oak Ridge Boys performed as one of the first country acts in Russia on a three-week tour.  You could say 'they were in Russia before Russia was cool!'" – Chuck Dauphin

Appearances set for The Big Interview with Dan Rather, Grand Ole Opry, Larry’s Country Diner, RFD, SiriusXM, and so much more!
NASHVILLE, Tenn.Made up of members Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden and Richard Sterban, The Oak Ridge Boys are members of the Grand Ole Opry and achieved, arguably, country music’s highest honor when they were inducted into The Country Music Hall Of Fame in October 2015.

The group has given many command performances throughout their legendary career, from performing for King Gustaf of Sweden, to Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Monaco, to Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of Great Britain and five U.S. presidents: Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. In 1976, they performed in Russia during the “Iron Curtain” days on a three week tour with Roy Clark – a first for ANY country music artist.

Since the start of their highly decorated career, the Oaks have achieved five GRAMMY® Awards, and multiple CMA, ACM and Dove Awards for their crossover brand of pop, country and gospel music that spans multiple generations.

In preparation for the release of their highly anticipated new album 17th Avenue Revival (March 16, Lightning Rod Records), The Oak Ridge Boys are gearing up for media rounds in Nashville and New York City where the quartet will make appearances on The Big Interview with Dan Rather, Larry’s Country Diner, The Grand Ole Opry, a sit-down one hour special on RFD, The 700 Club, SiriusXM, Jesus Calling, Southern Living, Fox News Radio, METRO Focus, Westwood One, Celeb Secrets, Heartland, Nashville Insider, Country Rebel and more.

In front of an at-capacity, standing-room-only crowd at the Country Music Hall of Fame™ and Museum CMA Theater on Monday (3/5) night, The Oak Ridge Boys electrified with hit after hit, and then introduced their the new album. In addition, and in typical Oak Ridge Boys fashion, the group set a unique precedent by presenting the Country Music Hall of Fame with a special Edison cylinder recording of "Brand New Star," the first track from their new album.

“It’s exciting to me that our manager, Jim Halsey, and Logan Rogers, President of Lightning Rod Records, were able to envision the idea of releasing the new album, all or in part, on virtually every format of commercial recording technology since the Edison cylinder — and to find people to record ‘Brand New Star’ on cylinder,” said Duane Allen.

“We thought it was a fantastic idea to include vinyl, cassette, CD and cylinder — the only format we left out was eight-track and, who knows, that might be next.” Allen said. “It’s proof that our team can cover all the bases, while coming up with a fun and provocative promotion for the new product.”

CHARLEY CROCKETT’S “LIL’ GIRL’S NAMEPREMIERES
NEW ALBUM LONESOME AS A SHADOW OUT APRIL 20
ADDITIONAL HEADLINE TOUR DATES CONFIRMED
Charley Crockett’s new song, “Lil’ Girl’s Name” recently premiered at No Depression, who calls it an, “…infectious rockabilly scorcher…” and goes on to declare, “‘Lil’ Girl’s Name’ gets you moving; it’s so much fun to dance to this song that you’re disappointed when the music fades out.” Listen/share HERE.
“Lil’ Girl’s Name” is the second track unveiled from Crockett’s anticipated new full-length album, Lonesome As A Shadow, which will be released April 20 and is now available for pre-order.
Already receiving critical acclaim, the album’s first single, “I Wanna Cry,” recently premiered at Rolling Stone who describes it as, “…a more soulful side of the traditional roots-based sound that Crockett first honed as a street performer in New Orleans.” Listen/share HERE.
In celebration of the release, Crockett will embark on an extensive headline tour this year including shows at Dallas’ Majestic Theater, New Braunfels’ Gruene Hall, Austin’s Stubbs, Nashville’s Mercy Lounge, New York’s Mercury Lounge and Philadelphia’s Boot & Saddle among many others. In addition to Crockett’s headline dates, he will also perform a series of shows supporting JD McPhearson, Turnpike Troubadours, Shovels and Rope and Old 97’s. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on-sale Monday, March 5 at 10:00am local time. See below for complete details.
Produced by Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Zac Brown) and recorded at Sam Phillip’s Recording in Memphis, TN, Lonesome As A Shadow is Crockett’s fourth full-length album and his first release consisting entirely of original songs. In addition to Crockett on vocals and guitar, the album features his longtime touring band, “The Blue Drifters.”
The release of Lonesome As A Shadow culminates a series of breakthrough years for Crockett following the release of 2015’s A Stolen Jewel and 2016’s In The Night which received widespread critical acclaim and earned him a Dallas Observer Music Award for “Best Blues Act.” Following the releases, Rolling Stone included Crockett as one of their “10 Artists You Should Know” while Wide Open Country described him as, “A honky tonk hero for the modern era.” Most recently, in 2017, Crockett released a collection of his favorite honky tonk songs, entitled Charley Crockett presents Lil G.L.'s Honky Tonk Jubilee. The album features songs originally performed by Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker, Roy Acuff, Webb Pierce and other great heroes of honky tonk.
Inspired by the life of his ancestor Davy Crockett, the Texas native has traveled the world, spending time in Paris, Spain, Morocco and Northern Africa as well as singing on the streets across the U.S. from New Orleans’ French Quarter to New York City.

WITH AN UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND FOR TICKETS, SLAYER ANNOUNCES A SECOND NORTH AMERICAN LEG FOR ITS FINAL WORLD TOUR

LOS ANGELES, CA - MONDAY, (March 5, 2018) -- Literally by popular demand - with more than half the tour’s Leg One dates already either completely sold out or a sell-out imminent - today Slayer announces Leg Two, North America, of its final world tour, set to kick off on Thursday, July 26 at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH.  The tour will travel to 20 cities over about five weeks, culminating at San Jose’s SAP Center on August 26.  Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Napalm Death will accompany the band on all dates.  The general ticket on sale for most dates begins this Friday, March 9 at 10AM (local).  Very limited Slayer onstage + Meet & Greet + exclusive merchandise packages will be available.  Log on to www.slayer.net for all ticket and package purchasing information.

A second North American leg for this tour had been considered to take place at some point down the line, but within 48-hours of the initial January 26 ticket on sale date, that all changed.

“We were blown away by the speed of sales for the final run,” said Rick Franks, President of Touring for Live Nation, one of the tour’s promoters.  "Thirty-six years later and Slayer is bigger than ever before.”

On January 22, 2018, Slayer announced that it would do one last concert tour around the globe to thank their fans for all of their support over the years, for making the last three-and-a-half decades so packed with good times and unforgettable experiences, and then move on.

JADE BIRD ADDS MAY TOUR DATES WITH ANDERSON EAST
“LOTTERY” RELEASED TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Jade Bird is extending her spring and summer U.S. tour—this time with Anderson East on select dates in May. Jade has also confirmed dates supporting Colter Wall and First Aid Kit as well as festival appearances at SXSW, Stagecoach, Bonnaroo, Firesfly and Mountain Jam. See below for details.
Jade’s latest single “Lottery,” out now on Glassnote Records, continues to receive critical acclaim—Rolling Stone Country hails, “There’s something infinitely satisfying about the mix of saccharine British pop and foot-stomping Americana that encapsulates Jade Bird’s approach…along with delightful wordplay and earworm melodies,” while NPR Music furthers, “At first listen, the song exudes a lovely, youthful innocence. Bird’s inimitable vocals come in soft as she tallies the numbers on a first love that’s withered and waned…Turns out, though, this Bird has a bite, and with a fiery switch we’re thrown into a thunderous chorus that carries us from start to finish.” Watch the official video here as well as the acoustic version here. “Lottery” follows Jade’s 2017 debut EP Something American.
Born in Hexham, U.K., Jade’s early life was spent mainly in flight as an “army brat.” One of life’s few constants proved to be the influence of strong working women. At first via her mother and grandmother, who largely raised her, but later the female role models within the musical subcultures Jade become obsessed with: from empowering country heroines like Loretta Lynn to iconic alternative songwriters like Patti Smith—Alanis Morisette’s Jagged Little Pill was a similar early touchstone. Jade also recently spoke with Noisey about the influence of these and other women on her music.

ABOUT LAMB OF GOD:
Richmond, VA natives LAMB OF GOD are one of heavy music's most successful and uncompromising bands.  When the band's first major release, New American Gospel, was released in 2000 it was immediately touted as a classic within the genre. AllMusic stated it best, "The essential signatures of post-Pantera metal are in abundance on Lamb of God's inaugural album. New American Gospel provides a mighty oak upon which gritty American metal's faith is maintained, effectively bridging the '90s' insistence upon drill-sergeant technicality and the old school's determined focus on riff construction."

Some predicted a sophomore slump - that no band could top a debut album so strong.  They were proven wrong, with the release of 2004's Ashes of the Wake, an album that not only exploded stateside (certified Gold by RIAA) but also saw the spread of LAMB OF GODto all corners of the world.  The band's first DVD, Killadelphia, followed shortly after and was certified Platinum.  Then, with Sacrament (Album, 2006, #8 debut on the US Billboard Hot 200), LAMB OF GOD were honored with a Grammy nomination for the track "Redneck", which would be the first of five Grammy nominations for the band to date. Next came Walk With Me In Hell (DVD, 2008) and then the band's fourth album Wrath in 2009, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart, and then Resolution, which debuted at #3. Shortly after the release of Resolution, vocalist Randy Blythe was arrested in Prague, and spent 30 days in jail on a charge for which he was later acquitted (and lead to Blythe's bestselling memoir, Dark Days, as well as the film As The Palaces Burn).  After regrouping,LAMB OF GOD lost no ground with their latest full-length album, VII: Sturm Und Drang, the album was #3 in the US, #1 in Canada, #2 in Australia, #3 in Finland, #7 in UK, #12 in Germany and #13 in Japan, and #13 in Netherlands. "Overlord", the first single from VII: Sturm Und Drang, achieved a new milestone for the band when it reached the Top Thirty of US Active Rock Radio Chart (Mediabase).  In late 2016, LAMB OF GOD paid tribute to late, longtime fan and friend Wayne Ford with the release of The Duke EP, which raised funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The EP release coincided with a charity campaign offering personal items such as Blythe's Ashes Of The Wake Gold plaque, signed signature model guitars, handwritten lyrics and more.

Since inception and through it all, LAMB OF GOD's consistent and unwavering commitment to their music - and their fans - has kept them a critical and fan favorite worldwide, selling millions of albums and tickets around the world.

LAMB OF GOD is Randy Blythe (vocals), Mark Morton (guitar), Willie Adler (guitar), John Campbell (bass), and Chris Adler (drums).

"It's such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming from it out of us," said guitarist Phil Campbell, whilst drummer Mikkey Dee added, "Lemmy was very, very proud of it, not only because it turned out so well, but because it was fun!"

LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN
featuring Zac Brown Band, others

In 2015, three-time GRAMMY-winning multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band played a hit-filled performance for a sold-out crowd at the historic Forest Hills Stadium, presented by public television and digital music series, Artists Den.

A live recording of Zac Brown Band's performance of "Sweet Annie," off their 2012 album 'Uncaged,' from that night will be featured on Artists Den's 'Live from the Artists Den': a new live compilation album that brings together the best live tracks from the last four seasons of the public television series, best known for presenting secret concerts by extraordinary artists in non-traditional, often historic settings.

Other artists on the compilation include The Lumineers, Damien Rice, Alabama Shakes, Gary Clark Jr., Lady Antebellum, alt-J, Panic! at the Disco, Marina and the Diamonds, Fleet Foxes and John Legend.

This album is available globally on Friday, March 16 on all digital platforms listed at artistsden.com/artistsdenone including Apple, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal and more.
