NASHVILLE, TN  (January 21, 2013) – Just three weeks into 2013, hit singer/songwriter Brantley Gilbert has already scored his second-consecutive ACM nomination for New Male Artist of the Year and made a cameo on ABC’s new hit drama “NASHVILLE.”

Beginning today (1/21) – and running through 2/4 – fans will be given an opportunity to vote for the New Male Artist of the Year via www.VoteACM.com. The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air live on Sunday, April 7, on CBS at 8:00p ET/PT.

“Man, it is so incredible to receive this nomination … and to have my fans be a part of the process means even more to me,” said Gilbert. “These are the guys who come out every night to watch us play. I know I have the best fans around. Let’s bring this one home, BG Nation.”

During Wednesday’s (1/23) episode of “NASHVILLE” – titled “You Win Again” – Gilbert will make his first-ever television guest appearance. His cameo takes place at an Edgehill Republic soiree celebrating Rayna and Juliette’s successful duet, “Wrong Song.” Country singer Chris Young also appears in the segment, which airs on ABC each week at 10:00P ET / 9:00P CT.

With sold-out shows already lined up, Gilbert will kick off the second leg of his HELL ON WHEELS TOUR on 1/31 in Kansas City, MO, with special guest Kip Moore. Fans can be sure to hear his chart-topping hits “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” throughout the 13-city trek. The latter tune recently earned Gilbert his second #1 as an artist; fourth as a songwriter and Mediabase 2012’s second “Most Played Song of the Year.”

Brantley will join Tim McGraw on his tour beginning in May and will play the Verion Wireless Amphitheatre. For ticket information, log on to www.livenation.com
