LOS ANGELES, CA - Cage The Elephant are kicked off a run of live dates on Tuesday supporting Muse. The arena dates begin tonight in Charlotte, NC at the Time Warner Cable Arena and will wrap up on September 19th in Salt Lake City, UT at EnergySolutions Arena. The band will cap off the month with appearances at FM 94/9's Independence Jam in Oceanside, CA on September 21st and the 96.5 Buzz Beach Ball in Kansas City, MO on September 27th. Cage The Elephant are touring in support of their highly anticipated forthcoming third studio album entitled 'Melophobia', which will be released on October 8th via RCA Records. The album's first single "Come A Little Closer" peaked at #1 on HypeMachine upon its debut, was the most added track at alternative radio for three weeks in a row, and declared one of the most viral tracks of the week on Spotify by the Associated Press. Fans who pre-order 'Melophobia' will receive a free download of the single.
