A decade evolved from their debut at 2003's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Dumpstaphunk offers fans an unforgettable live experience steeped in the Big Easy tradition of a good time. The quintet features Ivan Neville on vocals, B3 and Clav, the double bass attack and soulful voices of Tony Hall and Nick Daniels III, Ian Neville on guitar, and the monster addition of Nikki Glaspie on drums and vocals.

Since the group's inception in late 2007, the Portland Cello Project (or, PCP, as their fans affectionately call them), has wowed audiences all over the country with extravagant performances, everywhere from Prairie Home Companion, to that punk rock club in the part of town your grandma warns you not to go to after dark. The group has built a reputation mixing genres and blurring musical lines and perceptions wherever they go. No two shows are alike, with a repertoire now numbering over 800 pieces of music you wouldn't normally hear coming out of a cello. The Cello Project's stage setup ranges from the very simple (4-6 cellos), to the all out epic (which has included 12 cellos playing with full choirs, winds, horns, and numerous percussion players).

Michael Nesmith  The Listening Room Series

In a career that has endured for almost 50 years, Michael Nesmith has made his mark on popular culture as a songwriter, performer, author, film-producer and actor. In the 1960s Nesmith found fame as on quarter of The Monkees. As a songwriter he has written music for such performers as Linda Rondstadt and had his songs covered by artists ranging from Run DMC to Andy Williams. A successful film producer, his name has appeared on the credits of such pictures as the cult-classic Repo Man and the Tim Robbins movie Tapeheads. In 1980 Nesmith was one of the men behind the launch of the revolutionary television channel MTV.
