Nashville, TN (January 8, 2013) – While still reeling from a standout year that produced multiple award nominations and a chart-topping tune, “Even if It Breaks Your Heart,” Republic Nashville’s Eli Young Band has even more to celebrate in 2013. The band will perform their love song, “Say Goodnight,” this Friday (11/1) on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, beginning at 12:35A ET/11:35P CT on NBC.
Their second-consecutive #1 smash “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” has garnered the band their first-ever Grammy nominations for both Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. CBS will televise the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT. The song, whose message parallels EYB’s own journey, has also earned a place in the hearts – and on the iPods – of their fans, selling more than one million copies and being certified PLATINUM by the RIAA.
Previously, the talented foursome took home the 2012 ACM Award for Song Of the Year with their #1 hit, the PLATINUM-certified “Crazy Girl.” EYB has received ACA, ACM, Billboard, CMA, CMT and Teen Choice Award nominations since releasing their critically-acclaimed album, LIFE AT BEST. They are currently in the studio recording their sophomore album on Republic Nashville and will hit the road on Kenny Chesney’s NO SHOES NATION TOUR in March.
