Nashville, Tennessee (January 12, 2012) – CMT and CMT.com will host the exclusive world premiere of Eli Young Band’s latest offering, “Even if it Breaks Your Heart,” tomorrow (1/13) at 8:00 a.m. ET/PT (repeats at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT).  In conjunction with the video, fans can get an inside look at what happened off camera during the 15-minute special CMT PREMIERES. B-roll footage captures the band huddling around heaters to stay warm in the frigid weather, behind-the-scenes action at Gruhn Guitars in downtown Nashville and the band's first attempt using pyrotechnics. For an exciting sneak peek of the video, visit CMT.com.
The video was directed by Brian Lazzaro, who also worked with the Republic Nashville band on their recent video for the platinum-certified, #1 smash “Crazy Girl.” The concept centers around an array of “dreamers” paralleling those who trek to Music City every day. Fans may catch a glimpse of a few familiar faces in the video with cameos from family, friends, actors from "Crazy Girl" and Republic Nashville President Jimmy Harnen's son, Luke.
“Even if it Breaks Your Heart” will be featured across CMT’s multiple properties including CMT, CMT.com, CMT Pure, CMT Top 20 Countdown, CMT Radio and CMT’s social media platforms. CMT is the only country music network in the unique position to deliver world premiere exclusives to fans on demand, on multiple platforms.
With a message that imitates the band's own journey, “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” is poised to follow the success of their breakout hit "Crazy Girl." Both singles are featured on their first album on Republic Nashville, LIFE AT BEST. For more on the Eli Young Band, visit eliyoungband.com
