$10 Advance $12 Day of Show
All Ages $2 Minor Surcharge (on-sale Wed. 4/6 @ 5pm)
In 2006, after several years of fronting the critically acclaimed Colorado-based band, Newcomers Home, Katie Herzig moved to Nashville to strike it solo. Before leaving Colorado, she single-handedly recorded and produced Weightless, a tour-de-force of innovative sonics and songwriting. Since then, Katie’s song “Heaven’s My Home” received a 2007 Grammy nomination and she has steadily become a fixture in Nashville’s up-and-coming indie music scene. Her songs have been featured on NPR, KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, Frito Lay and Honda commercials and many television shows including several episodes of television’s highest rated drama, Grey’s Anatomy.
Her last studio record Apple Tree, birthed songs like "Wish You Well," "Hologram," "I Hurt Too" and "Forevermore" that have become musical staples in the hearts of Herzig's fans. Her latest release, Live in Studio: Acoustic Trio is a spellbinding, uniquely immersive listening experience that manages to perfectly capture her live performances with bandmates Claire Indie (cello) and Jordan Hamlin (guitar, ukelele, accordion). This music is at once playful and impassioned--challenging and comfortable---intimate and epic… which is exactly what listeners have come to expect of Katie Herzig.

When Tim Halperin enrolled in piano lessons at age six, no one could have guessed that he would one day become a top contender on American Idol. In October of 2009, Ourstage.com named Tim’s Make or Break EP a Critic’s Choice, and in 2010, MTV’s The Real World featured two of Tim’s original songs on national television. Since then, his continuous-shot music video for “She Runs” has gone viral on YouTube, and Tim has shared the stage with artists including John McLaughlin, Matt Wertz, Andy Davis, the Ying Yang Twins, and Green River Ordinance. Whether it’s Tim’s catchy melodies and unmistakable rhythmic piano vibe or that fusion of pop and jazz that make his sound so irresistible, there’s just something unique about Tim Halperin. And if there’s one thing that Tim’s fans appreciate even more than his music, it’s his heart.
Rock on,
