An American Music Legend Performs In St Louis Legendary acoustic folk-rock artist, Jonathan Edwards, known for his gold mega-hit "Sunshine", will play at the Old Rock House on May 20th at 8:30 PM. Jonathan Edwards, fresh off a PBS special, The 70's: The Way We Were, will perform a rare solo performance at the Old Rock House in St. Louis, Missouri. "Jonathan Edwards and his music remain as original and relevant today and his voice as strong and memorable as ever." He grew up in Minnesota and began his music career playing by ear on his piano and guitar. Moving to Boston he became an integral part of the Boston music scene and was soon opening for big names such as B. B. King and the Allman Brothers Band. Jonathan struck gold with Sunshine in 1971, has recorded 13 solo albums, performed throughout North America and Europe, and collaborated with artists the like of Emmylou Harris, Jimmy Buffet, Tom Chapin, and Christine Lavin. His live concerts continue to draw fans of all ages who come to hear not just a performer and songwriter, but a storyteller whose music and charisma touch both the heart and the spirit.
