ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean is set to perform his powerful duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson on The Ellen DeGeneres Show next Tues., Feb. 22. He will also perform his most recent No. one hit “My Kinda Party” on Conan that same night.
“Other than when we debuted ‘Stay’ on the CMA Awards, we haven’t really had a chance to perform the song together on tv,” said Aldean. “Something happened while we were off for the holidays and that song has just taken off...you can really feel the impact out on the road the minute we play the first note.”After the biggest year of his career, Aldean kicked off 2011 with a new benchmark, his first ever Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist of the Year nominations for the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards set to air live April 3 on CBS. The news came just days after learning of the PLATINUM certification of his fourth studio album MY KINDA PARTY, which also recently climbed its way to the No. one position on the country chart 14 weeks after its release.
Aldean will perform at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre as part of the Country Megaticket this season.
