Jason Aldean announced his 2014 touring plans on ‘Good Morning America’ on Thursday morning (Jan. 9). The ‘When She Says Baby’ singer will take Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr along on the Burn It Down Tour this spring and summer, stopping in nearly 50 cities and playing multiple baseball stadiums.
This announcement reveals the answer to a week’s worth of clues uncovered at his Facebook page, like a picture of Screech from ‘Saved by the Bell’ (actor Dustin Diamond). Other hints were the fire, baseball seat and a box of matches. He’s partnered with Major League Baseball for the tour.
A list of cities is below, with a few confirmed dates. Tickets for some shows will go on sale January 24 as part of Live Nation’s Megaticket package. Farr and FGL are currently on the 2014 Night Train Tour with Aldean.
Thursday afternoon Aldean announced that Nationals Park in Washington D.C., Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PNC Park in Pittsburgh and Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati were confirmed baseball stadiums for 2014.
In addition to the baseball stadiums, Aldean will play venues like LSU Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. on May 25. Last year, he played shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago and Fenway Park in Boston. He tells ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts that he always wanted to be a baseball player, but “the problem is, I didn’t have any power.”

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE SET TO “CRUISE” INTO CHAIFETZ ARENA NOVEMBER 1

TICKETS GO ON SALE FRIDAY, AUGUST 9 AT TICKETMASTER.COM

COUNTRY BAND SET RECORD FOR FASTEST SELLOUT AT CHICAGO-AREA ARENA

(August 5, 2013) – Record-breaking country duo Florida Georgia Line is set to cruise into Chaifetz Arena on Friday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. as part of their “Here’s to the Good Times Tour.” Colt Ford and Tyler Farr are also scheduled to perform.

Tickets are $29.75, $34.75 and $39.75 and go on sale on Friday, August 9 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com, the Chaifetz Arena box office, 1-800-745-3000 and all Ticketmaster outlets.

Over the past year, Florida Georgia Line has cherished the good times as their debut single “Cruise” broke the record for the longest No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (22 weeks) in the 69-year history of the chart.  Florida Georgia Line also set the record for the fastest sellout ever at Chicago’s Sears Centre Arena, when tickets to their October 31st performance sold out in less than five minutes.

Florida Georgia Line has skyrocketed since releasing back-to-back, multi-week #1 smash hits in the US and Canada with the platinum-certified “Get Your Shine On” and “Cruise,” which combined with the Top 10-and-climbing (Top 40 Charts) remix featuring Nelly, has sold nearly 5 million downloads. The record–breaking duo, comprised of Tyler Hubbard (Monroe, Georgia) and Brian Kelley (Ormond Beach, Florida), is the first in 21 years to top the Country airplay charts with their first two singles, according to Billboard. The ACM New Artist of the Year and New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year winner’s current single “Round Here” is Top 20-and-rising at Country radio.

Garnering buzz among fans, media and several Superstars across genres – including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Ed Sheeran – the hot newcomers most recently scored two CMT Music Awards for Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year as well as a Teen Choice Awards nomination for Choice Country Group at the upcoming awards on August 11.

Colt Ford’s latest album, Declaration of Independence, was released on Colt’s own Average Joes Entertainment and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Declaration of Independence included the hit, “Back,” a collaboration with Jake Owen. Recently nominated for Fox Network’s American Country Awards for 2012’s “Breakthrough Artist of the Year,” Colt penned two #1 hits in 2012; Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem,” and Brantley Gilbert’s, “Country Must Be Country Wide.” Colt has sold over a million albums, millions more song downloads and has over 10 million YouTube views. In addition to being a gifted songwriter and artist, Colt is also a former PGA Golfer.

Tyler Farr, a Garden City, Mo. native, is anticipating his first album release in October 2013. The album “Redneck Crazy,” features the single of the same name, which has reached 12 on the US Country charts. Farr has also co-written songs for other country artists, including “Hey Y’all” for Colt Ford and “She’s Just Like That” for Joe Nichols.
