SUGARLAND TACKLES BIGGER ISSUES
AHEAD OF JUNE 8 RELEASE
DUO BRINGING TOUR TO CHAIFETZ JUNE 30

“Sugarland has found a way to stay in touch, with their audience and the broader world, by enlarging their scope on Bigger, and that's no small feat.” – NPR Music

Empathetic “Tuesday’s Broken” Inspires Conversation-Evoking Album

NASHVILLE, TN (June 1, 2018) – NPR Music offers a preview of the long-awaited album from one of Country music’s most celebrated duos, SUGARLAND, and opens a wider conversation on the culture of humanity. BIGGER is available for streaming now across the platform: https://www.npr.org/2018/05/31/615247730/first-listen-sugarland-bigger ahead of the June 8 release on Big Machine Records/UMG Nashville.

NPR’s Jewly Hight muses, “the duo has reunited for its fifth proper studio album, BIGGER, with the magnified bravado of a pop act mounting a comeback (see:
the lead single). But the new set also represents a conscious scaling up of the perspectives that Bush and Nettles' explore in their songs and honing of their awareness of how they come across to various audiences.”

The pair began with a simple meeting to see how their creative energies would mesh after six years apart and nearly 10 million albums sold domestically, seven No. 1 singles to date and more than 330 million on-demand streams. What resulted was a collection of songs that coupled familiar musical acrobatics alongside poignant lyrics and “[addressed] social crises in a grounded, unpretentious way” (NPR Music).

Sugarland’s empathetic view of the modern world resulted in tracks like “Tuesday’s Broken."  Commenting on the track, Hight says “they distilled parental concerns, horror at the rise of school shootings, the influence of Civil Rights activist Ruby Sayles and  socially conscious Irish rock into the poignant ballad "Tuesday's Broken," borrowing Sayles' inquiry into human pain: "Where does it hurt?"

Lyrics from the song pose:
But what if we tried to reach him with words
What if we looked in his eyes and asked where does it hurt
Would he find all he was worth
Monday was hoping
But Tuesday’s broken

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush penned all but one track – “Babe” featuring Taylor Swift – and produced the project with Grammy-Award winner Julian Raymond. BIGGER’s also now available for pre-order and fans can experience the new music live as their STILL THE SAME 2018 TOUR rolls through 48 cities in the U.S. and Canada. For tour dates, visit https://sugarlandmusic.com/.

NASHVILLE, TN (May 14, 2018) – Jennifer Nettles spent Mother’s Day weekend at a place that helped shape her into the woman she is today, her alma mater. The ’97 alumna delivered a moving commencement speech at Agnes Scott College's 129th Commencement in Decatur, GA to inspire students to follow their dreams and forge their own path. Nettles pondered, “what kind of woman do you want to be? 'Cause I know what kind of women I want you to be. I want you to be fearless dream warriors, I want you to be the boss ladies of your own lives. I want you to live authentically in your truth. I want you to be so in touch with your truth that nothing can pull you off your path.”

The GRAMMY® Award-winning musician is no stranger to using her platform and charisma to create opportunities for conversation. Nettles passionately spoke about the social media haters, the language of pain and the power of connecting on a human level. She closed the speech with a beautiful rendition of an Irish blessing. Watch her full speech/performance here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=113&v=s18973h_lNY.

NASHVILLE, TN (May 8, 2018) – Superstar Country duo SUGARLAND has released a touching tribute aptly titled “Mother,” ahead of Mother’s Day this Sunday (5/13). Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles penned the song that embraces a mother’s love with emotionally charged lyrics:

She fixes all the broken things,
When you’re in love, she’s got a ring
To give to you she hopes you give away
She don’t care who you give it to
Where they’re from, if they pray like you
As long as they are good to you, that’s enough
First thing she taught you was love is love.

Watch the official lyric video now: https://sugarland.lnk.to/MotherLyric.

A mother herself, Nettles shares, “We wanted to celebrate what we feel is so beautiful about mothers. What we shared with our own mothers and what we see is beautiful about that relationship and that kind of unconditional open-ended love.”

As someone who has lost his mom, Bush explained, “This song is about a lot of things, our families, our lives, our country, but mostly, it is about my mom and what she was like. Now you see why it says what it says, especially in the lyric ‘As long as she’s alive you’re not alone’.”

The GRAMMY® Award-winning pair performed today their new single “Babe” on ABC’s Live with Kelly and Ryan which can be seen here.Their new album BIGGER is available now for
pre-order and will be jointly launched under their new joint venture with Big Machine Records and UMG Nashville on June 8.

SUGARLAND RELEASES HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED NEW SINGLE "BABE" FEATURING TAYLOR SWIFT, AVAILABLE NOW

New Album BIGGER Out June 8

STILL THE SAME 2018 TOUR Launches May 25

NASHVILLE, TN — Superstar Country duo SUGARLAND today releases new single “Babe,” featuring Taylor Swift. The new song is available everywhere for sale and streaming, while Country radio stations have already began spinning what is undoubtedly one of the biggest vocal events of the year. Swift penned “Babe” with Train frontman Pat Monahan, and last fall she offered the track to Sugarland for the GRAMMY®-winning pair’s forthcoming album BIGGER, out June 8 on Big Machine Records and Universal Music Group Nashville.

“We’ve never put someone else’s song on a Sugarland record, but we were immediately interested in ‘Babe’ the first time we heard it!” said Jennifer Nettles. “This one really felt like it belonged so we saved it for the final afternoon of our recording session; a special time for us.”

“Our last hours in the studio have always been good luck,” continued Kristian Bush. “‘All I Want To Do’ was from a final session, so was ‘Stuck Like Glue.’ The biggest compliment was when she heard our take on the track and emailed us to say she wanted to be a part of it!”

“This collaboration is the perfect combination of mutual admiration for each other and mutual admiration for great songs. As artists, we really see the world through a similar lens,” added Nettles.

“Babe” follows previously released tracks “Still The Same” and “Bigger,” which are included on Sugarland’s first project together in nearly six years. The 11-song set is now available for pre-order with new tracks delivered in the weeks leading up to the full release.

Sugarland will appear on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! May 2.

After delighting audiences in the U.K. with their new material and earning standing ovations during their performances at the C2C: Country to Country festival in March, Sugarland’s STILL THE SAME 2018 TOUR will kick off May 25 across 48 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
The dynamic duo will play Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis on June 30 with Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen. For more information, visit www.thechaifetzarena.com

Since the band’s inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums domestically, earned seven No. 1 singles to date and amassed more than 260 million on-demand streams, making them one of the most popular Country music duos of all time.

LEE BRICE, JUSTIN MOORE ANNOUNCE 2017
CO-HEADLINE 'AMERICAN MADE' TOUR
Lee BriceJustin Moore

William Michael Morgan, Brett Young Round Out Lineup
as Direct Support

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 20, 2016) – Lee Brice and Justin Moore, two of country music’s most dynamic performers, will ring in 2017 with their co-headlined “American Made” tour kicking off January 12 in Indianapolis at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. William Michael Morgan and Brett Young round out the tour as direct support. (Morgan and Young’s specific markets are noted in the tour schedule below.)

Moore released his fourth album ‘Kinda Don’t Care’ — his third #1 debut on the Country charts — in August. The lead single from the album, the Top-5 and-rising “You Look Like I Need a Drink,” lines up right alongside his chart-topping Platinum and Gold-certified hits “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Point at You” and “Lettin’ The Night Roll.” This also follows two Gold-certified albums ‘Justin Moore’ and ‘Outlaws Like Me.’ He debuted music from his new album last month with a live performance during the Fox & Friends’ All-American Summer Concert Series.

Lee Brice is a multiple ACM and CMA award winner with a GRAMMY nomination, six RIAA platinum singles – and more than 10 Million singles sold —under his belt. The “melodically eloquent” (New York Times) power vocalist, songwriter and producer has celebrated five #1s including “I Drive Your Truck” and “Drinking Class” and was most recently honored by the RIAA during a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden for the platinum certification of his #1 radio single, “I Don’t Dance.” He quickly followed that career milestone with performances on NBC’s “The Voice,” “Today” and ABC’s “The Bachelor Live.”

“It's very exciting to get back out there as a headliner,” Justin says. “To be able to do it with my buddy Lee is even more exciting. I've been a fan of his for a long time. It's gonna definitely be a party every night. I hope the fans are as jacked up about it as we are.”

“When we put this tour together we thought about the fans first,” says Lee who kicked off 2016 with his own headlining “Life Off My Years” tour after being the only country artist in 2015 to perform in all 50 states. “I love playing live but what’s even more fun is interacting with the amazing people in the audience. That’s what it’s all about. I can’t wait to get out there to play the songs everyone already knows but we’re also planning to give these audiences a sneak peek into a few songs off the new record!”

About Justin Moore:
Justin Moore’s long-awaited fourth studio ‘Kinda Don’t Care’ was released in August and earned the singer his third consecutive #1 album debut. It features his current Top 5-and-rising single “You Look Like I Need a Drink.” The project is chock-full of new music with 16 tracks on the deluxe version which shot to #1 on the iTunes Country and Billboard Country Albums charts upon release. The Arkansas native spent three years putting the project together, which serves as a follow up to his second #1 album release, Off The Beaten Path.

Moore holds five #1 singles under his signature white cowboy hat including “Point At You,” “Lettin’ The Night Roll” and the Platinum-certified “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” He has seven Top 10 hits and sold almost 8 million tracks to date.

The Valory Music Co. recording artist has earned multiple ACM, ACA and ACC Awards nominations including being named the 2014 ACM New Artist of the Year. USA Today has exclaimed, “he has come to represent the best of a new generation in country music.”

This is Moore’s third headlining tour having sold out dates across the country previously for his Outlaws Like Me and Off The Beaten Path tour stops. Describing his electrifying live show, Billboard said “Fans literally started screaming for the Arkansas native from the beginning notes of “Till My Last Day” and continued all the way through his hit-filled set…”

He has shared the stage with Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr, Blake Shelton, Eric Church and is currently on the road with Brantley Gilbert once again for the Take It Outside tour.

About Lee Brice:
With his latest album, ‘I Don’t Dance,’ (9.14) Lee has scored two Billboard Country #1 smashes. “I Don’t Dance” and “Drinking Class,” with “That Don’t Sound Like You” earning a Top 10 chart position.

As “one of the finest singer-songwriters country music has to offer” (USA Today), Lee has written songs for artists including Garth Brooks' “More Than a Memory,” Tim McGraw's “Still,” the Eli Young Band's “Crazy Girl.”

Lee Brice released his debut album, ‘Love Like Crazy,’ in 2009. The title track reached #3 on the Billboard Country chart and set a record as the longest-charting song in that chart’s history. In 2012, he topped his own success with ‘Hard 2 Love,’ an album that went Gold and featured three #1 Country singles, including “I Drive Your Truck,” which won Song of the Year at both the CMA and ACM Awards. The record earned raves everywhere from NPR to Country Weekly and found the New York Times hailing him as “a sensitive macho man,” a compliment that perfectly encapsulates both sides of Brice’s persona. ‘Hard 2 Love’ also garnered Lee his late-night debut with a stirring performance of “I Drive Your Truck” on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”

Brice took it a step further on his latest album, ‘I Don’t Dance’ (9.14), relishing the role of producer with a flair for experimentation, resulting in the album’s title track hitting #1 at radio the week the album came out. Lee can currently be heard alongside long-time friend and label-mate, Jerrod Niemann, on Jerrod’s latest single, “A Little More Love.” Lee will continue to tour through the fall while also writing and recording his fourth studio album slated for release in 2017 on Curb Records.

The single also topped SiriusXM’s “The Highway” Top 45 Countdown chart and was touted as a “Country Song of the Summer” by Billboard. Morgan was named an “Artist to Watch” by Pandora Radio, while CMA Close Up declared the 23-year-old Vicksburg, MS native “a leader of a new wave of traditional Country Music singers,” noting “Morgan’s voice is unabashedly old-school velvet.”

Goulding will be touring in support of her third studio album Delirium, which will be released on November 6th via Cherrytree/Interscope Records. The album is currently available for pre-order and those who do will receive instant downloads: the first single "On My Mind," "Something In The Way You Move," "Lost and Found" and "Army." Produced by Max Martin, "On My Mind" is Top 10 at Top 40 radio. Meanwhile the video — a high-octane revenge thriller filmed in Las Vegas and directed by Emil Nava — has racked up more than 46 million views on Vevo. Watch it here.
It has been a whirlwind few years for the singer from Herefordshire, England.  Since the release of her debut Lights in 2010 and Halcyon in 2012, she has sold over six million albums and 20 million singles worldwide, scored six consecutive platinum US singles, won two Brit Awards, and has video views and streams both in excess of one billion. This year's "Love Me Like You Do" single, meanwhile, was a worldwide No. 1 smash, hitting the top spot in 70 countries and breaking the record for the most streamed song in one week.
