SEAL ANNOUNCES LATE SUMMER TOUR DATES 

7/11/16 - Los Angeles, CA - Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Seal will hit the road late this summer, where he will perform hits from his illustrious 20-plus-year career. The tour kicks off August 18th in Hollywood, Florida and will run through various cities across the country such as Atlanta, Washington DC and Atlantic City. Tickets available here.

Seal made headlines recently on a trip to Montréal, when he noticed a local busker on the streets and jumped in to sing along with him. "I love to wander around each city when I'm touring and take photos in my off time. This busker caught my eye and I just had to jump in."  This encounter was captured and recorded by numerous spectators on their phones and has since gone viral through social media, being picked up by TV stations across the country including Good Morning America.  Since his first street singing session in Montréal, Seal has performed with two lucky fans on both the streets of London and Manchester in the UK and has invited both of them up on stage with him that night at his sold-out shows. Seal had so much fun busking that he has started his own Facebook live series entitled Street Songs where he posts videos of these spontaneous sessions with fans. On the heels of sold out European and Australian tours, Multi-Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Seal will embark on a North American tour this summer. Fresh off of touring in Australia, Seal is bringing his talents back to North America to perform fan favorites and songs from his eighth studio album, Soul 2, which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard charts.

 

“I love my fans and I love the connection I have with them when I perform live,” said Seal. “I can’t wait to bring this show to North America.”

 

Soul 2 finds Seal joining forces once again with legendary producer Trevor Horn (Seal, Seal II, Human Being) who shares production duties on the album with Soul producer David Foster (Soul, Commitment). This time Seal brings his silky, inimitable voice to a lush collection of romantic soul classics primarily from the '70s, including those by Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Al Green, and Teddy Pendergrass, among others.

 

Over the course of a remarkable career that spans more than two decades, Seal has won four Grammy Awards and sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, enjoying success across numerous genres of music. His emotional, romantic love songs, such as "Prayer For the Dying," the Grammy Award-winning "Kiss From A Rose," and "Don't Cry" (all from 1994's Seal II), and "Love's Divine" (from 2003's Seal IV), delighted fans and earned him critical acclaim. He has also seen great success in the dance/pop music world beginning with his roots in Britain's house music/rave scene with his debut 1991 album and returning to those roots with 2007's dancefloor-friendly System. In September 2010, Seal released his seventh studio album Commitment, which peaked at No. 11 on the U.K. chart giving Seal his fifth Top 20 album in his native Britain.
