The true inventors of Red Dirt Metal, Texas outlaw quartet TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION, are pleased to reveal another brand new track cut from their upcoming release Dark Side Of Black, out April 22 via Carved Records. The song appears as track one on the new album and is available for streaming right now via Guitar World. While listening, read an in-depth interview with vocalist Big Dad Ritch.

When asked by Guitar World what the significance of the album's title is, vocalist Big Dad Ritch stated, "There are a lot of people who will work hard at blacking out your light, as opposed to working on making their own light bright. I feel I represent a mighty powerful bright light, but I also feel that when push comes to shove, the darkness I have hidden behind my light is ready to blacken all that holds color. When this happens, I cannot control my dark side. You see, there is always someone who has a darker side and I am the Dark Side of Black..."

Colorado THC fans should brace themselves for the band's upcoming album release party and performance at Herman's Hideaway in Denver, CO, taking place on April 23rd. It's no secret that the show will celebrate the 4/20 holiday and that special plant the band holds dear, so in preparation for the show, premier local rock station 106.7 KBPI FM will premiere the band's weed-friendly track "Knee Deep" on April 20th during "Your Morning Show" with host Willie B. The show airs from 6-10am U.S. mountain time and can be streamed live worldwide here.

The newly-explored heavy side of TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION is evident throughout Dark Side of Black, which embraces the band's southern roots while exploring a murky, groovier feel - not straying too far from THC's tried and true brand of rugged outlaw rock.

Pre-orders for Dark Side of Black are available now via iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.Dark Side of Black was recorded at Boot Hill Studio in Corinth, TX and Valve Studios in Dallas, TX with producer Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Hellyeah, Damageplan).

About TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION:
TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are the purveyors of their own patented Red Dirt Metal sound: designing their own line in life and in music. For them, there is no other way. TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are committed to crafting a unique, original and thoroughly raucous brand of music that's born of both life experience and a respect for rock 'n' roll's forefathers. What exactly is Red Dirt Metal? Take outlaw country, toss in a dash of Southern-fried classic rock and mix it with some potent Texas power grooves and you've got a combustible sonic cocktail on your hands.

ARCANE SAINTS Added To TRAPT
Self-Titled Tour.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JUNE 12, 2014
This just in! Aussie grunge rock outfit Arcane Saints have been added to Trapt’s history making self titled tour. Kicking off June 18th, this will be the very first North American tour for Arcane Saints.
"As an Australian band, traveling clear across the world to tour the USA for the first time in itself is very exciting. But to be doing so with Trapt, a band we grew up listening to and have so much respect for is more than we could have hoped for! Audiences can expect to see a raw, high energy live show. We choose not to use computers or backing tracks live in order to keep the music as real as possible. With Arcane Saints what you see is what you get, four guys giving everything they have onstage and having the time of their lives rocking out with all of you! We know Americans are extremely passionate about rock music and we can't wait to get over there and be a part of it!" comments vocalist Mike John.
The band’s current single "Hard to Please" is receiving substantial rotation across the country and can be heard here: https://soundcloud.com/major-label-entertainment/arcane-saints-hard-to-please
On the sound of Arcane Saints, Senior Editor of Music Insider Magazine Brian McKinny raves: “This is a talented young band that displays the musical know-how of journeyman players. It's nice to know that Australia is keeping the rest of the rock and roll world on their toes with great music from bands like Arcane Saints!"
