MIAMI, Fl.  – Put on your “Boogie Shoes” and prepare to “Get Down Tonight” with Harry Wayne Casey 'KC' and the band that created some of the world’s most beloved dance songs. Formed in 1973, KC & the Sunshine Band celebrate 40 years of making music – the result of which gave voice to a generation, helped define an entire culture and continues to make an impact today.

KC's story is a musically rich one. From his two year plus internship with TK Records in Miami where he learned each facet of the music industry from the ground up to his imaginative musical creations which included mixing Caribbean Junkanoo instruments with the music of Motown he had grown up with. Their music has been featured on hundreds of movies, TV shows and advertising campaigns.

“In 40 years and in my wildest dreams I never imagined that I would still be doing what I love doing, and that is making and performing my music for you,” says KC. “I am so grateful and thankful for the continued support and belief in KC & The Sunshine Band from all of our fans new and old and those who have not admitted it yet.”
