Just one month since their self-titled, debut LP release, Mt. Joy's honeyed blend of Californian classic rock and blue-eyed, Philly soul has fans swarming to shows on a national tour that only keeps growing.
The rising "folk-rock heroes" (Rolling Stone) have already proven irresistible at radio, closing in on the AAA Top 10 with "Silver Lining" and breaking through to alt stations like KROQ. But now, their 1.4 million monthly Spotify listeners are affirming real-life devotion, with the band selling out shows in LA, Brooklyn, Chicago, Philly, DC, San Francisco, Portland, and more on the horizon.
The group plays the Blueberry Hill Duck Room on Tuesday, May 8
The five-piece has over 40 current dates sure to "overflow with hooks, tenderness and singalong moments" (NPR Music). Having conquered Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Newport Folk on the back of just three singles last summer, they'll bring their festival-primed sound to Shaky Knees, BottleRock, and others this season.
