Having already ventured to Europe and with plans to visit South America, the “Turn Up The Quiet World Tour” is shaping up to be one of the biggest in Mrs. Krall’s career. Her familiar band of Anthony Wilson (guitar) Karriem Riggins (drums) Robert Hurst (Bass) & Stuart Duncan (fiddle) have been wowing audiences with material from Krall’s stunning latest album Turn Up The Quiet (Verve Records). Earning critical praise, DOWNBEAT Magazine called the album "spellbinding… Krall knows how to put her own distinctive stamp on decades-old standards, making them sound fresh and vibrant."
Turn Up The Quiet holds significant importance as it was the last recording Krall made with her long-time mentor and collaborator, producer Tommy LiPuma, before his sudden passing last year and is dedicated to his memory.
Krall recently wrapped the second leg of her North American tour with two incredible nights at The Hollywood Bowl in August, along with a stellar performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Click here to watch: http://abc.tv/2xTLMai.
