THE STONE FOXES BRING THEIR BOMBASTIC
LIVE SHOW TO THE OLD ROCK HOUSE JUNE 26th
Supporting Lukas Nelson

"Small Fires is proof that Rock n' Roll lives on." - The San Francisco Bay Guardian

In each one of us is a highway dreamer, a hopeless Kerouac, a beaten down peacenik, a starving organist, an American. The Stone Foxes connects those disparate threads and does so in a way that is both awe-inspiring and meritorious.” - Absolute Punk

The Stone Foxes "have 'it' - whatever 'it' is these days," sayd Indie Shuffle , and they're bringing "it" to  the Olde Rock House on Thursday  June 26th supporting Lukas Nelson & P.O.T.R.

The Bay Area blues-rockers will be playing fan favorites from their latest album Small Fires that Glide Magazine said: "Shows these guys at a pinnacle point in their career," along with testing out new material that the band has been working on in the studio inbetween tours.

Known for their raucus live set,  Behind the Hype said: “There are concerts that make me believe in 'Rock ‘n Roll.' The Stone Foxes put on a show that makes me believe.”  Article Cinncinati said “The Stone Foxes kickstart their blues-inspired rock anthems the way you would fire up an old motorcycle.  She's gonna puff out some oil smoke, but there's a whole lot of life left in that machine.  It seems like the bike has only gotten better with age.  You can ride it harder.  Dents and scuff only add character.”

Besides offering no-holds-barred rock n' roll, late last year the Stone Foxes  teamed up with  SuperFood Drive to champion and raise awareness of homeless, a social issue very near dear to the band. While on tour the Stone Foxes encourage fans to bring and collected non-perishables at their shows, which they then hand delivered to local food banks and shelters in each city. This collaboration spawned the Goodnight, Moon project whose long term and on going initiative it is, is to raise awareness of homelessness through music.  The band was very  inspired by the stories and the people they met at these shelters and food banks them which lead to a musical collaboration for a new recording of their song Goodnight Moon, with some very special people who were kind of enough to lend their voices to this project.
