ST. LOUIS, MO / June 17, 2014 – St. Louis’ premiere rock school presents the U-19 Bash,
a day-long musical event showcasing many of the area’s under 19 musical
talent while raising funds for the national organization, The Rock
School Scholarship Fund. The U-19 Bash will be
held Saturday, August 16 from noon to 10:30pm at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. Ticket prices are $50 reserved pit, $25 reserved seats and $10 general admission. may also be purchased with no handling fee at either School of Rock
location (Ballwin or Kirkwood) as well as Steve’s Hot Dogs on The Hill.
The
U-19 Bash will feature performances by Clockwork, The Public,
Lighthouse Diver, The Moment, Simple Machine, Doppler FX and School of
Rock special tributes to Jimmy Hendrix, The Clash & Nirvana. Steve Ewing, lead singer of The Urge, will perform a special selection of Police songs with the School of Rock house band.
The
highlight of the evening will be a powerhouse performance by Jon
Anderson, the iconic voice of YES, one of ‘70s most influential bands in
rock-and-roll.
