BAND WILL PLAY SXSW SHOWCASE WITH PHANTOGRAM, ALOE BLACC AND MORE
Los Angeles, CA - Alternative rock trio Bravesoul have
premiered a new music video for the track "Annie" off of their debut EP The Infinite Hourglass - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOAMCk7Qt9g. The video follows singer Marty Rod's struggle during a tumultuous time in a relationship.
"Annie
is a song about being young, unstable, unsure, and in a relationship
that's slowly falling apart despite the love that's still there," singer
Marty Rod explains. "It's about the fear of growing up and of
commitment, and the idea of being an "adult" in the midst of trying to
still learn about love and life. The music video was intended to be a
simple and aesthetic expression of that experience - we wanted to
express that pensive sadness and uncertainty that seems to reach a
tipping point in every relationship that eventually falls apart. The
broken down car that he later revisits in the junkyard is sort of the
literal "end of the road" for them, and we play with the parallel
motions of the past and present as the couple eventually reach that
lukewarm ending in the video."
The
band will be playing the Palladia showcase at this year's SXSW Festival
in Austin, TX, sharing the stage with Phantogram, Aloe Blacc, Sam Smith
and more. For more information head over to Bravesoul's official

atmospheres and an adventurous rock sound, they have been compared to
modern bands such as Imagine Dragons, Kings Of Leon, Muse and Young The
Giant. Their songs are catchy but heavy, intelligent yet raw and filled
with emotion.
